How to plant sunflowers on a large scale

Due to the limited space, I selected a landscape sunflower to focus on its cultivation methods, and briefly introduced the whole process according to the mode of combining convention with picture and text.

It can also be broadcast to the ground, saving labor and agricultural costs, but due to seed quality, climate, soil and other factors, there will be inconsistent flowering, and even unsprouted dead plants. The root system is weak in the early stage of growth, and seedlings will die in high temperature weather. So I prefer seed container seedlings, but this year we use seed direct seeding mode.

Sowing time points: a, drawing planning variety site cleaning; b, soil deep ploughing twice; c, sunflower currently has no obvious continuous stubble resistance to other crops, but soil disinfection is still necessary; d, sunflower is a fertilizer-loving crop, so base fertilizer should be fully applied, organic fertilizer solid fertilizer and powder fertilizer can be used; e, according to the size of sunflower plant, the planting spacing varies from 30cm-50cm to two to three seeds in each hole. F, as sunflower sprouting to flowering takes 50 to 60 days, so the sowing time is in the early and middle of August, the hot weather is mainly high temperature sunscreen, properly covered with non-woven cloth.

Key points of growth period: a, pay attention to sunscreen and high temperature; b, for ungerminated planting holes, you can transplant more than two other sprouting holes; c, transplant more than two true leaves; d, cover the weak seedlings to prevent death from exposure to the sun; e, when the plant 15cm to 20cm need topdressing, because the root system is shallow, it is best to dig holes and bury fertilizer, once every 15 to 20 days; f, pay attention to insect prevention and disease prevention.

Main points of blooming period: a, hit water and fertilizer once before bud appearance, b, make flowers grow neatly and vigorously; c, before bud appearance, it is recommended to hit one or two hormones, such as dwarf element, which can prolong flowering period; d, sunflower florescence is 20 to 30 days, and florescence will be shorter in cloudy and rainy weather; e, pay attention to windy weather and tie it up in time to prevent being blown down.
