Hyacinth is not only a lily plant, but also a bulbous flower. Hyacinth has plump inflorescences and various colors. Let's take a look at the cultivation methods and techniques of hydroponic hyacinth.

Introduction to cultivation methods and techniques of hydroponic hyacinth

Hyacinth, which originated in the Netherlands, is a famous flower in the world, as well as tulips. Main biological characteristics: hyacinth is not only a plant of Liliaceae, but also a bulb flower. Hyacinth has plump inflorescences, various colors and white roots. Hyacinth is a perennial bulbous flower, winter and early spring are its growth and flowering period, and summer is its dormant period, so it is generally cultivated as annual flowers. Hyacinth likes a warm, moist, well-ventilated and sunny environment.

Characteristics

The water level should have 1-2CM of space from the chassis of the bulb, so that the roots can breathe. It is strictly forbidden to fill the bottom of the bulb with water. Put the seed head in a wide-mouthed glass bottle in December and add a little charcoal to help with disinfection and antisepsis. The head of the hyacinth is only dipped to the bottom of the ball. Then put it in a dark place and cover the bottle with a black cloth.

Watering

If you use water to change it every 7 days.

If the secondary water is raised with hydroponic nutrient solution, the nutrient solution should be changed every 10 times every 15 days depending on the degree of turbidity, no matter how to keep the water quality in the bottle clean. Hyacinth can be kept in a special gourd-like glass bottle, and its flower clusters can be seen in the upper paragraph. After more than 20 days, the root sprouts out in total darkness, and then it can be exposed to the sun outside.

Environment

Don't expose the bulbs to direct sunlight before sprouting. After germination, it should be placed in a bright, well-ventilated and sunny position to facilitate its growth. At first, it shines for an hour or two a day, and then gradually increases to seven or eight hours. if the weather does not change much, it may blossom during the Spring Festival, and a bunch of stout white roots can be seen in the second paragraph. This kind of flower and root luxuriant scene, with the exception of Cymbidium, other flowers and plants are difficult to see.

Color

Hydroponic hyacinth is one of the most easily cultivated varieties of hydroponic flowers. Hyacinth variety, red like fire, purple intoxicating, yellow dazzling, pink charm, white purity, blue depth, they represent positive, on behalf of the love of life. When it blossoms, it symbolizes the coming of spring, which is exciting. It began hydroponic culture in November and blossomed after about 70 mi 80 days, with fragrance.

Training method

After the first hydroponic culture, hyacinth is generally difficult to blossom in the second year, and it needs to rest and recuperate for a year. As for rest and recuperation, it is buried in the soil, watering and fertilizing properly, but when it grows inflorescence, it is ruthless to cut off the inflorescence and only let it grow nutritionally. Before planting, put it in the freezer at 4 °C for 2 weeks, and then hydroponic culture, you will be able to produce beautiful flowers again.

Disinfection is also needed before hydroponic culture. after disinfection, the special hyacinth hydroculture bottle does not need to put pebbles. If it is a wide-mouth bottle, put the pebbles away, and the tap water had better be used overnight. Put the ball on the bottle or on the pebbles.

Key points of hydroponics:

(1) choose and buy a container that can hold the bulb, preferably a gourd-shaped container with a small top and a large bottom, with a better transparent glass texture. Some household utensils such as goblets and bottles can be selected, as well as large-mouthed containers. There should be 1cm-2cm space on the water surface from the bottom of the bulb. Do not submerge the water over the bottom of the bulb. (make sure the root breathes freely)

(2) the water temperature should not be high, and it is better to be below 15 ℃. Tap water can be used directly.

(3) after putting the bulb on the bottleneck, the water level can be lowered to just touch the water surface of the root, so that the root can fully absorb oxygen and promote the growth of the root. When the root develops, the black cloth covers the culture container and allows the bulb to develop further.

(4) move the container to a sunny place in winter to make the flowers big and strong.

(5) when leaves and buds grow, bask in the sun for one or two hours a day to make their leaves and pedicels strong; adjust one direction every day so that they do not grow to one side. Avoid "crooked neck" phenomenon.

(6) do not expose bulbs to direct sunlight before sprouting.

(7) several hyacinths can also be planted in the fish tank, and the matrix is made of sand and shady ferns to form a wild and interesting small scene, which is also very chic.
