Mung bean sprout is one of the common sprouts in our life, its growth cycle is very short, planting is relatively easy, and it is less limited by time, only suitable temperature and growth conditions are needed. Let's take a look at the planting techniques of mung bean sprouts with the editor.

1. Select bean species

We can buy mung beans in the market, but before sprouting, we must first select species to remove shrunken grains, insect grains, broken grains and other impurities, which is the first step in cultivation, relationship and the yield of mung bean sprouts. Then wash the mung beans with clean water to remove all the mung beans on the floating surface, which is some immature or moth-eaten plants with low germination rate. In order to remove the inferior seeds during cleaning, it is necessary to wash them many times to ensure that all the inferior seeds are removed.

2. Soaking seeds

After seed selection, we should also check the appearance of the seeds, in order to avoid the adulteration of inferior seeds, leaving some larger and full seeds, while the smaller seeds will not be left even if there are no defects, so as not to affect the germination rate and other seeds. Soak the selected seeds according to the proportion of 1:1, the water temperature of the soaking seeds is controlled at about 20 degrees, and the soaking time is generally 5-7 hours. When the seeds absorb enough water and do not have any wrinkles, you can control the dry water and prepare for sprouting.

3. Sowing seeds

Mung bean sprouts generally rely on the growth of water, so when growing, you can put it in a place with plenty of water, just cover the surface with a layer of shallow soil. When planting, you generally choose to plant in a container, the size of the container should not be too large, so as not to cause management difficulties, if you plant more, you can choose multiple containers for planting. First of all, spread a thin layer of soil at the bottom of the container, and then put the planting into the container and pour in enough water, without the need for fertilization and other operations like other plants, which generally grow on water.

4. Temperature control

If you want to plant mung bean sprouts well and make them grow normally, an important factor is temperature, which is very important to it. When the temperature becomes cold, it should be put into the greenhouse environment, but the temperature should not be too high, which is not conducive to its growth. The suitable temperature for newly planted plants that have not yet sprouted is about 18 degrees, which is suitable for its germination. When the seed germinates, the temperature also needs to grow, which is the critical period of development. It is necessary to raise the temperature to about 23 degrees to promote its development. At the same time, we should pay attention to watering, which is the greatest loss of water demand.
