Peppermint is a kind of multifaceted herb, which is mainly used as medicine in stems and leaves, which can dissipate heat, detoxify and penetrate the rash. at the same time, it can also cook with tea. Then let's take a look at the planting method of potted mint.

First of all, the propagation of mint, peppermint is mainly propagated by rhizome, but it can also be propagated by cutting or seed, but compared with rhizome propagation, seed propagation and cutting propagation have a large variation rate, and the reproduction efficiency is relatively low. So we mainly propagate with the root system, that is, we plane out the mint root and cut it into segments of 6-8 cm, each with 3-4 stem nodes, and then plant the cut mint into a breathable nutrition cup at the bottom of 10: 10, buried at a depth of 4-6 cm, and then place the nutrition cup on the seedbed or balcony and water it thoroughly to keep the temperature in the shed or balcony between 20 and 28 degrees. Mint can sprout in about 20 days. It can be transplanted into the pot in about 30 days.

On the basin, choose a round flowerpot with breathable bottom, which can be clinker pot or tile pot or porcelain pot, then fill it with matrix mixed with peat soil and fermented organic fertilizer, and control the excess after pouring through water.

Transplant, remove the mint seedlings from the nutrition cup from the nutrition cup and plant them in the flowerpot at the same depth as the top of the previous nutrition cup soil. Keep the mint seedlings in the center of the flowerpot. Then put the transplanted mint seedlings on the seedbed.

Maintenance, peppermint likes to be moist and warm, so the planting process should be watered regularly and pruned in time to ensure the aesthetics of potted mint.
