Freshwater fish species were successfully introduced into the ecological breeding farm in Beizhen, Jinzhou, Liaoning Province.

Recently, the Aquatic Seedling Supervision and Management Office of Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province, helped Beizhen Ecological breeding Farm to win financial support from the Department of Marine and Fisheries of Liaoning Province, introducing 231 freshwater herring, Sturgeon, bighead carp, grass carp and reserve species from Hubei Province for breed renewal, purification and rejuvenation, of which Sturgeon was introduced for the first time in Jinzhou area. The success of this introduction is of great significance for improving aquatic germplasm resources and seedling quality in Jinzhou area.
