At the beginning of this year, he invested 800000 yuan to introduce high-quality kelp seedlings from Fujian, and purchased some related equipment to set up a large kelp farm. After months of careful management and scientific breeding, more than 20 tons of kelp were harvested in the first batch this year, and more than 600 tons of kelp are expected to be harvested this year.

It is understood that Wu Daoqiang raised more than 500 mu of kelp this year because of its good management and care, and because of its dark green color, delicious taste, crisp and tender, clean, no impurities, and rich nutritional value, the yield per mu has reached thousands of kilograms. At present, its product orders are full, basically ordered by merchants from Wenzhou and Taizhou. Wu Daoqiang told the author that according to the current market sales price, apart from the costs and expenses, the income of more than 500 mu of kelp farmed this year can also make a profit of more than 400,000 yuan, an increase of 40% over the same period last year.

Wu Daoqiang, a major kelp farmer, also told the author that in the next step, he intends to establish an economic cooperative for kelp farming, work with island kelp farmers to form a kelp farming consortium, grasp product quality, grasp the market situation, and make kelp farming products bigger and stronger.

It is reported that at present, they have contacted several farmers and have begun to open up new kelp farms in the Jishan sea area. at the same time, they have also discussed the acquisition of kelp with businessmen inside and outside Duojia County, South Korea and Japan, so as to be ready to expand the scale of breeding and expand the market.
