According to statistics, affected by continuous heavy rainfall, the affected area of crops in Yangjiang City of Guangdong Province reached 9,330 hectares, the loss area of aquaculture reached 2,560 hectares, and the direct economic losses of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery in the whole city exceeded 200 million yuan.

It is understood that due to the long duration and intensity of rainfall in recent days, crops and fish ponds (enclosure) in some areas of Yangjiang, Guangdong Province suffered from the disaster of "toppling" and suffered heavy losses. The city's water conservancy facilities suffered direct economic losses of 36.6 million yuan, 77 houses collapsed, and 27 industrial and mining enterprises stopped production due to the disaster. Over the past few days, Yangjiang in Guangdong has invested more than 2,500 people in emergency rescue, rescued 600 people trapped by floods, and transferred more than 3,000 people.

It is reported that the severely affected Guangdong Yangxi County Shaba Town, the town's Yandeng Ridge in the early morning of the 8th landslide, more than 3,000 cubic meters of debris flow sliding down the mountain, more than ten families at the foot of the mountain affected, fortunately did not cause casualties.
