Since its establishment more than three years ago, the Qiaohu Crab Association in Guzhen County has given full play to the advantages of talents, technology and funds, made full use of Qiaohu Lake's good water quality, sufficient biological resources, and well-informed market information, and led more than 100 farmers to raise river crabs and mandarin fish. Good economic and social benefits have been achieved. In particular, the association carries out new technology training for farmers and uses publicity materials and popular science demonstration bases to provide farmers with "one-stop service" before, during and after production. The Qiaohu Crab Association of Guzhen County was established in October 2005. it is a comprehensive service organization integrating the cultivation, breeding and demonstration of famous and excellent aquaculture and excellent aquaculture seedlings. Now it has developed 148members and led 174farmers, with a culture area of 17400 mu and an annual output of 183.4 tons of river crabs, with an output value of 11.416 million yuan and an average annual income of 57200 yuan. The specific measures are as follows: first, centralized training, making use of the characteristics of the association itself, such as a large number of technical personnel, well-informed information, and a large area of aquaculture demonstration, to strengthen the training of members and key aquaculture farmers in batches and in different key areas, and to employ city and county aquatic engineers as teachers to train association members regularly or irregularly. After several years of training, the 148 members of the existing association can skillfully master the techniques of mixed culture of crab mandarin, cage culture of crab, cage culture of mandarin and so on. The "hanging cage crab raising project" undertaken by the association has passed the appraisal of provincial scientific and technological achievements and has been awarded the third prize for scientific and technological progress by the municipal government. The second is to provide seedling services for members. Every year, the association uniformly transfers more than 70 million high-quality seedlings from other places, and the cost price is supplied to its members. Only this item can save more than 3000 yuan per farmer on average. At the same time, actively open up the market, bridge leads to Shanghai, Hangzhou, Nanjing merchants to the breeding site to negotiate business. In recent years, 80% of the aquatic products produced by the association have been bought by non-local merchants in the place of origin. Not only reduce the cost of breeding, the price is also higher than the market price; third, unify the trademark and create the "Qiaohu" brand, all members of the association can use the "Qiaohu" brand provided by the association for free under the premise of strict implementation of operating standards; fourth, unified technical services, from seedling delivery, breeding process management, product sales, the association provides one-stop service free of charge, the majority of members are more satisfied.

This year, the association was rated as an advanced unit by Bengbu City Association of Science and Technology, and recommended to the Provincial Association of Science and Technology to participate in the selection of provincial advanced agricultural technology association.
