Yang Bo, the top sheep farmer in Guanbao Village, Zhangqiang Town, Kangping County, Liaoning Province

Yang Bo, born on April 22, 1950, responded to the call to go to Guanbao Village, Zhangqiang Town, Kangping County in 1968 and spent six years with the poor and lower-middle peasants who re-educated him. He returned to Shenyang in 1974 and was admitted to the economic management major of the Party School of the Liaoning Provincial CPC Committee in 1982. He graduated in 1986. Inspired by the party's policy, in 1999, he and several friends jointly contracted a piece of wasteland in Guanbao Village, Zhangqiang Town. He returned to his second hometown and started his second business.

Six years of life in the countryside, the farmer's hard-working, simple character deeply affected him, but also always inspired him to build a good base, make the farmers rich, in return for their affection. After nearly two years of hard work, he established Baokang Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Development Co., Ltd., built a new sheep house of 4000 square meters on a piece of ruins, 2000 crossbred basic ewes for breeding and 30 original Charolais breeder sheep. Since the construction of the base, the company has invested 2.6 million yuan in fixed assets. At present, there are 1 animal priest, 2 veterinary officers and 2 technicians, and the technical force is constantly strengthened. Baokang Company has become a leading enterprise that drives thousands of families to make "sheep" money.

Yang Bo set up the company with the original intention of getting rich and not forgetting his fellow villagers. With the vigorous development of itself and the continuous improvement of economic benefits, the wave of rural industrial structure adjustment has come. In order to promote farmers in the surrounding areas to shake off poverty and become rich, Baokang Company has implemented the development model of "company + farmers", which is characterized by high economic benefits of raising sheep. Farmers make full use of idle barns, courtyards and cornstalks, with an annual income of 400 yuan per ewe. Second, the company implements real preferential conditions for farmers: free breeding, free technical advice, higher than the market price recovery lamb. In the process of development, Yang Bo went deep into farmers, publicized in many ways, taught the technology of raising sheep to get rich, and achieved obvious results.
