Wu Hongping, a group of villagers from Longtan Village, Yaqueling Town, Yiling District, Yichang City, made use of the Longtan hot spring with a constant temperature of 17 degrees in front of the door, invested more than 90, 000 yuan in June 2008 to build 1000 square meters of fish ponds to concentrate on raising Siberian hybrid Sturgeon. It began to be sold in six months, and more than 7000 Sturgeon fish were sold by the end of the first month of the lunar calendar this year, with a market price of 30 yuan per kilogram, income of more than 120000 yuan and a net profit of more than 30,000 yuan.

After Wu Hongping's victory in the "first battle", 14000 fry were put in at the price of 3.50 yuan per fry in April 2009. He told the author happily that 1.1kg of feed can grow 1jin of fish, and about 1.5kg of adult fish is the most popular on the market, with a price of 15.5yuan. At present, a large number of adult fish have been sold. New Year's Day can be sold out before the festival in 2010, and the total income can reach 260000 yuan.
