The popularization of large-scale river crab culture technology in the Yellow River Delta has passed the acceptance.

On October 15, the Department of Ocean and Fisheries of Shandong Province organized relevant experts to conduct on-site acceptance of the provincial agricultural technology extension project "key Technology Popularization of large-scale River Crab Culture in the Yellow River Delta" undertaken by the province's freshwater.

The project is carried out in Kenli County, Dongying District and Lijin County, and the implementation time is one year, with an area of 144160 mu, including 36160 mu in ponds and 108000 mu in Pingyuan Reservoir, all of which have exceeded the project planning targets. At the same time, the project also carried out 43000 mu of Reed wetland large-scale commercial crab culture experiment and promotion, the cultured river crab has normal body shape, bright body color, rapid movement, no attachment, part of the breeding unit has passed the pollution-free aquatic product origin identification and product certification, organic food certification. In addition, the formulation of "Technical Standard for hairy Crab Culture in the Yellow River Estuary" was completed with the implementation of the project, which was issued by Shandong Provincial Bureau of quality and Technical Supervision on February 17, 2009 and implemented on March 1, 2009. it fills the gap in the technical regulations for the production of hairy crabs in our province.

The implementation of the project has changed some traditional culture concepts of farmers, and the production of high-quality and large-scale river crabs has enhanced the competitiveness and influence of hairy crab products in the Yellow River Estuary, improved the farming specifications and technical level, and increased the fishermen's farming income.
