Due to overfishing, the natural resources have been seriously damaged, the output has decreased year by year, the market supply exceeds demand, and the price of Loach reaches 14 yuan / jin. The Science and Technology Bureau of Yibin County took the Loach artificial breeding project as the key support project of the characteristic economic fish culture project in the county this year, selected two science and technology ombudsmen to give technical support, and established a cooperation platform with Yibin fish farm and city and county experts. Xiao Changyou and Xiao Changxi, farmers of Wang Chang Township Fisheries Association, collected more than 400 Misgurnus anguillicaudatus at their own expense under the guidance of the special scientific and technological commissioner. The experiment of artificial spawning and reproduction of Loach was carried out on April 17, which broke through the key technology of artificial reproduction of Loach.

It is understood that Xiao Changyou has a standardized breeding demonstration farm of 40 mu, including a 1 mu Loach breeding pond. More than 200 Loach species have bred 6 million Loach seedlings this year, sold 3.2 million Misgurnus anguillicaudatus seedlings, with an income of 64000 yuan. It is estimated that 12 million Misgurnus anguillicaudatus seedlings will be reproduced annually. Together with the income from the sale of commercial Loach, the annual sales income is expected to reach more than 200000 yuan.
