On June 12, the author watched the Indian peacock at Li Jianghui's home in Wushi Village, Qili Town, Zixing City. He was also the first characteristic farmer in the city to breed peacocks.

Recently, Li Jianghui signed a 10-year contract with Jiangxi Zhongnong Science and Technology Co., Ltd. in advance, a total of 12 peacocks were introduced at the price of 8800 yuan per group. After a period of time, 20 peacocks and dozens of pheasants were introduced into joint breeding to develop the characteristic breeding industry.

It is understood that at present, there are only two kinds of peacocks in the world: Indian peacocks (also known as blue peacocks) and Java peacocks (also known as green peacocks). The Indian peacock, known as peacock and peacock in ancient times, is one of the rare birds with high ornamental value in the world. It is native to India and has a large figure. Its crown often spreads to form a fan. The neck feathers of male birds are sapphire blue, rich in metallic luster, and are commonly known as blue peacocks. Peacock meat is delicate, rich in more than 20 kinds of amino acids and vitamins and trace elements, fat content is only 1%, protein content is 23.2%, much higher than ordinary birds, with the characteristics of high protein and low fat.
