Scientific planting to lead the rich road and join hands with the neighbors to go to a well-off society
Liu Yuanshu is an ordinary peasant woman in Dongtai Community, Wanggezhuang Street. Since 1992, she took the lead in planting Laoshan tea in the village. Over the past few years, she has overcome difficulties and actively learned science and technology. She has successfully tested the cuttage technology of new tea varieties, the frying technology of Longjing tea, etc., and obtained green certificate. Hard work in exchange for the joy of harvest, Liu Yuanshu expanded the 3 mu small tea garden to the present area of 80 mu, assets of 2 million, 32 employees, annual production of 30 tons of tea set planting, processing, machinery in one of the comprehensive organic tea farm. Its tea farm reached the pollution-free standard in 2001, was named Longjing Tea Breeding Demonstration Base by District Forestry Bureau in 2002, and was named Women Agricultural Standardization Production Demonstration Base by Qingdao City in 2004. The tea produced by tea farm was rated as high-quality tea in the provincial famous tea evaluation in 2002, won the first prize in the sixth green tea evaluation in Laoshan District, designated as the second Laoshan Tea Festival in 2005, and rated as the consumer satisfaction unit in Laoshan District in 2006.
Liu Yuanshu's family of five people, there are old and young. More than ten years ago, her husband worked in a factory, with low wages and unpaid wages for many years. The children's tuition fees, the elderly's medical expenses and the family's living expenses had to be paid. The economy was very difficult. Liu Yuanshu is determined to get out of trouble by planting tea. With her husband's support, in 1992 she borrowed 1000 yuan from relatives to buy tea seeds and planted a love affair with Laoshan tea. However, due to lack of technology, in the second year after planting, the tea all died of disease, and the already poor families owed a debt. When Liu Yuanshu wanted to cry but had no tears, she participated in the tea planting training class organized by the Women's Federation. Through systematic study, she understood a lot of tea planting and processing knowledge, understood the reasons for her first planting failure, and deeply realized the importance of scientific planting. Therefore, she stepped up to supplement the scientific and technical knowledge of tea planting, participated in training classes organized by the Women's Federation for many times, and bought books such as "Tea Garden Soil Management and Fertilization," worked during the day and studied at night, and mastered a large amount of tea planting knowledge. The following year, Liu Yuanshu started cooking again and sowed tea seeds again. Relying on scientific and technological knowledge, Liu Yuanshu tasted the sweet fruit harvested, and her tea finally survived successfully.
Tea planting and processing is a hard labor, Liu Yuanshu with the unique simplicity and tenacity of peasant women, not afraid of hard work, early morning and late return, all day either soaking in the tea field work, or relying on the fire to fry tea. Hand frying tea is the hardest work, get up at four o 'clock in the morning to pick tea, come back to dry and then start frying tea. In the first few years, due to the relatively simple facilities, fried tea needs to be carried out on ordinary iron pans. Due to the height limit of the pot platform, you can neither stand nor sit when frying tea. You can only bow your waist and lie down beside the pot for three or four hours, often with low back pain. Because the fresh tea picked that day could not stay overnight, in order to ensure the quality of the finished tea, she sometimes had to work for days and nights in a row, unable to sleep well at all. Especially in summer, when other people were resting, she had to fry tea under the fire. Her hands were scalded and calluses were worn. Her body was gradually wasting away from physical exhaustion. Even if she worked hard, Liu Yuanshu still felt that there was not enough time. Because she not only wants to pick tea, stir-fry tea, in order to improve the skill of stir-frying tea, she also often goes out to visit and study, participate in the stir-fried tea competition organized by urban agricultural units, so as to find out her own shortcomings and constantly improve. Over and over again, her tea frying skills became more and more advanced. In order to improve efficiency and save money, Liu Yuanshu asked her mechanic husband to build a tea frying machine for herself according to her own ideas. The same machine was half cheaper than buying it out. After hearing this, the surrounding tea farmers found Liu Yuanshu and his wife and asked for help to build one. Liu Yuanshu inspired, encouraged her husband simply quit the factory work, set up a mechanical processing workshop in the tea farm, specialized in tea machinery processing research, and applied for a patent. Under the joint efforts of the couple, the first tea farm in the north was built with tea machinery.
Hard work, in exchange for rich fruits. After several years of hard work, Liu Yuanshu not only increased her income, but also accumulated rich experience. In order to expand the scale and embark on the road of scientific and standardized development, Liu Yuanshu officially registered and built the dew spring tea farm in 2001, and was identified as a pollution-free tea farm by the Provincial Department of Agriculture. In 2002, she carried out cutting experiments of high-quality tea seedlings such as Longjing 43 #and Longjing Changye, and achieved success; invested 400,000 yuan to contract 300 mu of land to establish demonstration base, carried out irrigation, greening and renovation and reconstruction of water, farmland and roads, and hired tea artists from Hangzhou, Rizhao and other places successively for guidance. In 2003, the tea farm was awarded the title of Women's Science and Technology Demonstration Base by the District Women's Federation. In 2004, she invested 300,000 yuan to expand the factory building, update the equipment and expand the production area. According to the enterprise development idea of "survival by product quality and development by brand innovation", she carried out standardized management and total quality management, ensured product quality, created her own tea brand, and was rated as an agricultural standardization demonstration base by the Municipal Women's Federation. In 2005, at the second Laoshan Tea Festival, dew saliva spring tea became the designated product of the tea festival. As a result of adhering to quality win, integrity management, in 2006, tea farm was rated as consumer satisfaction units. Liu Yuanshu herself won the title of "Double Learning and Double Competition" in China. As a "strong woman," Liu Yuanshu did not relax her responsibility to the family. Her family was harmonious, her husband and wife were harmonious, she respected the elderly, educated her children, and the family was happy. In 2006, she was rated as one of the top ten civilized families in Laoshan District.
