On the drying ground, which is 16 meters wide and 2000 meters long, GE Haoxin's wheat is pulled one by one, and the shop is full, sighing to GE Haoxin's farmers: "GE's wheat is golden wheat, and the seeds are full and round, and there is no way to finish it." It will take a whole week to pull it out and put it into the warehouse like this. Holding the golden wheat in his hand, GE Haoxin's heartfelt smile and pride were written on his face: "if all my wheat were spread out in this sun field, it would be almost one person tall." This year, he contracted more than 10,000 mu of wheat and had a bumper harvest. The average yield per unit area reached 575 kg.

GE Haoxin, a large grain grower in Yingzhou District, Fuyang City, Anhui Province, began to contract farmers' cultivated land according to law since 1998. By the autumn of 2008, he had contracted a total of 10079.4 mu of peasant arable land and more than 1300 mu of high-yielding public land for wheat technology. a total of 23079.4 mu of peasant farmland has been contracted in different forms. It is one of the only 20 major grain producers in Anhui Province commended by the Ministry of Agriculture in 2008. Since the autumn seed last year, GE Haoxin has sowed seeds strictly in accordance with the scientific matching of improved varieties and prescriptions. Last winter and this spring, Fuyang City suffered the worst drought in 50 years. GE Haoxin spared no effort to fight drought and protect seedlings, irrigated root water, and pulled out water-saving water. with years of accumulated experience, he instructed farmers to strengthen field management and carry out "one spray and three prevention." timely fertilization and weeding.

In March, when interviewing GE Haoxin, Han Ping, a reporter from Fuyang TV Station, asked GE Haoxin how much production is expected to be reduced this year. GE Haoxin replied, "if water and fertilizer keep up, not only will there be no reduction in production this year, but it will also exceed the annual output level." Han Ping does not believe that GE Daihu boasts: agricultural experts in provinces and cities all expect wheat production to be reduced by about 20% this year, so you GE Daju are more capable? on June 3, before the harvest, in front of the reporter's camera, Li Pingfang, a senior agronomist in our city, measured the yield for the last time in GE Haoxin's high-yielding key fields, and the figure was 626 kg per unit area, 27% higher than last year. In this case, the reporter was convinced: "still GE Daju Niu"! GE Haoxin calculated an account for us: excluding the cost of fighting drought, his per unit yield of wheat last year was 472.5 kilograms, and this year's 10,000 mu of wheat increased by 100 jin per mu, with a net income of nearly one million yuan. However, according to experts, GE Haoxin is still conservative.

Speaking of this year's bumper harvest, GE Haoxin is very grateful to the local government. Last year, on the basis of giving GE Haoxin various national policies to benefit farmers, the Yingzhou District Government invested 900000 yuan to carry out irrigation and water conservancy grass-roots construction for GE's high-yield wheat public fields. When there was a continuous drought in winter and spring, the Yingzhou District Government supported GE's large families with 57000 yuan in drought relief funds, 26 sets of sprinkler irrigation equipment, 6 sets of mobile pumps and 120 tons of low-cost drought-resistant and disaster relief fertilizers. GE Haoxin has become a successful model for Yingzhou District to explore rural land transfer, from individual decentralized contracting to intensive and industrialized agriculture. GE Daju did not forget his neighbors when he got rich. He often used CDs, broadcasts, training courses, science and technology through trains, and other forms to actively drive the surrounding people to cultivate fields scientifically, thus improving the quality and output of wheat in the whole city, as well as making economic contributions to the development of the local rural economy.
