Last Updated: 2024/11/05, Cui Jianbin grows the most "cow" hairy peach in China.

A few days ago, Cui Jianbin, a science and technology commissioner of Yongning County, and his family are picking "Ningtao No.1" and "Ningtao No.2," which they have experimentally cultivated and named themselves. Cui Jianbin, weighing 80 kilograms, casually stepped on the big and red peaches all over the ground and said: "This peach can't be trampled, can withstand storage and transportation, regardless of yield, fruiting period and quality, it belongs to the best in China."

Six years ago, Cui Jianbin hired Guan Qingbao, a domestic breeding expert, to test and select peach varieties suitable for planting in Ningxia. After unremitting efforts, they crossed non-dormant varieties in the south with deep dormant varieties in the north, and successfully bred new tetraploid hybrid varieties with early bearing, high yield and excellent quality. In addition, the self-created fruit stem inclined two-way cultivation technology makes the fruit trees balanced in nutrition and uniform in light reception, solving the difficult problems of strong upper and weak lower peach in greenhouse in China.

Cui Jianbin experimented with peach varieties planted in April last year, and went on sale in April this year, which was 20 days earlier than the earliest listed Hebei peach in China, and 3000 kg more than the best domestic varieties in the first year, reaching 4000 kg, breaking the domestic record.

He revealed that the price of peaches in the experimental shed before May 1 can reach 24 yuan per kilogram, and the average income of the shed is close to 60,000 yuan, so that peach farmers really double their income.
