Rural areas, like cities, have room to display their talents. In the view of Wang Xianyu, who has worked hard along the coast for many years, the countryside where he was born and raised him is more suitable for his own development. So he returned to rural areas to develop aquaculture, from raising bamboo rats to raising pigs and geese, and setting up small feed factories, initially forming a comprehensive breeding scale. He told everyone with his entrepreneurial experience: whether it is employment or entrepreneurship, as long as you find a way suitable for your own development, there is also room for rural areas to display their talents.

Wang Xianyu, the king of raising rats

After graduation, he went to Shenzhen with confidence but was repeatedly frustrated.

Wang Xianyu is from a remote village in Wan'an County, Ji'an City. He is one of the few college students in the village. After graduating from the software engineering major of Donghua Institute of Technology in 2004, I went to Shenzhen with confidence to seek development. I thought that the software engineering major could find a satisfactory job very smoothly, but he was completely surprised. After several setbacks, Wang Xianyu finally found a job as a software engineer. After work, I work part-time in a computer maintenance shop. On one occasion, Wang Xianyu had an argument with a client, but ended up being beaten, accompanied by money and apologized. Through this incident, Wang Xianyu found that his simple, honest character is very unsuitable for living in the city. Perhaps, the familiar hometown is more suitable for him, so he began to pay attention to some projects suitable for development in his hometown.

Friends get together for dinner and find business opportunities to return to their hometown to start a business.

In 2008, Wang Xianyu tasted the dishes of braised bamboo mice at a friend dinner. Bamboo mouse, also known as blind-headed mouse, is a kind of wild animal that mainly eats bamboo heel and Reed. "isn't this a kind of mouse that my father and I used to dig up in the bamboo jungle when I was a child? Unexpectedly, it has become a delicacy on the table, and the price is not cheap, costing 280 yuan a plate. "at the same time, he was surprised to see the business opportunity: his hometown is rich in wild bamboo mouse resources, superior geographical environment and food for bamboo mouse, and the price of bamboo mouse is high, large and small restaurants are in great demand! Breeding this is undoubtedly a good choice.

Immediately, he went to Guangxi and Hunan, a major province of bamboo mouse farming, and learned that bamboo mouse is a new type of aquaculture with high development value, large market demand, low investment, low risk and high economic benefits. Through careful analysis, Wang Xianyu thinks that raising bamboo mice is very promising. As soon as he did it, he went back to his hometown to use his house to build a mouse nest and buy rat breeds. In this way, farming officially began, and he also changed from an IT person to a farmer, shuttling between breeding rooms every day, putting in feed, washing dishes, cleaning, and doing things large and small by himself.

Strive to double the output value of aquaculture technology

In order to master the breeding technology as soon as possible, Wang Xianyu bought a large number of books and materials, inquired about bamboo mice on the Internet every day, and worked hard to improve the breeding technology. In a short period of more than half a year, his bamboo mouse has grown from 40 to 300 now. According to the growth law of bamboo mouse, its reproduction will increase exponentially. Although the sales of the first batch of commercial rats sold is only less than 20,000 yuan, I am glad that according to the current breeding rate, the output value can be achieved in less than 100,000 yuan in less than a year.

Raising bamboo rats requires not only coarse fodder such as bamboo and Reed, but also some concentrate such as corn, soybean meal and wheat bran. If the concentrate is too much, the bamboo mouse will go bad if you can't finish it; if you don't eat enough, it won't be enough. In order to ensure a normal supply of concentrate and achieve diversification, Wang Xianyu built a pig farm and feed factory. Now it has initially formed a comprehensive breeding scale. Although the current scale is not large, it will grow to 3000 bamboo mice, 2000 pigs and 20, 000 geese in a year, with an output value of more than 4 million yuan. at the same time, it can also lead the surrounding villagers to get rich together.

Wang Xianyu said: "although the entrepreneurial conditions in rural areas are difficult, I have no regrets, because I have found a job suitable for me and found the right direction of development." I think whether it is employment or entrepreneurship, as long as it is suitable for their own development, then rural areas and cities, there is room for us to show our talents. "
