In recent years, several enterprises have successfully developed more than 100 kinds of processing technology of wild edible fungi, and purchased and processed more than 50 kinds of precious and delicious wild edible fungi, such as Tricholoma matsutake, Boletus, Auricularia auricula, Morchella, truffle, chicken oil fungus and miscellaneous bacteria, etc. The products are exported to Japan, Thailand, France, the United States, the Netherlands, Italy, Germany, Canada and other countries, and have become the largest processing base of wild edible fungi in Yunnan Province.

In 2008, Liuchang Town Agricultural and sideline products processing Base achieved sales income of 170 million yuan alone, processing and exporting 6480 tons of wild edible fungi, including 80 tons of dried boletus, 2200 tons of salted boletus, 2000 tons of quick-frozen boletus, 400 tons of salted chicken oil bacteria and 1800 tons of miscellaneous fungi.
