With the development of market economy, the buyer's market of agricultural products has become a foregone conclusion, which has brought great impact to the traditional agricultural production, and is also a severe test to the adjustment of rural industrial structure that is in full swing all over the countryside. as a result, farmers in many places begin to worry about "what to plant" and "how much to plant". The author thinks that in order to solve the problems in this new situation, we must start with the law of market economy and do a good job in the internal capital operation of agriculture.

Capital operation is not unpredictable and difficult to master, it has three remarkable characteristics: first, the capital flow is efficient, and "profit maximization" is the primary feature of capital operation. No commodity operator is not for the pursuit of economic benefits as the ultimate goal; second, the optimal combination of factors, workers, production tools, labor objects of the best match, each in his place. Third, only exercise can add value, the faster the flow rate, the greater the value-added.

By simple comparison, it is clear that our current agricultural production is still at the level of extensive management. First of all, it is not efficient, unable to compete with foreign excellent crops in quality, and the production cost is far higher than the international market, so it is impossible to compete with imported agricultural products in price. According to a data, the price of domestic wheat is 75% higher than that of the international market. Corn is 63% higher, soybean oil is 117% higher and peanut oil is 31% higher. Under such circumstances, it is not surprising to be eliminated by the increasingly competitive market. Secondly, not to mention optimal combination, some workers with not too high cultural quality manipulate simple labor tools, work at sunrise and rest at sunset, in exchange for only a small output of land; at the same time, the low technical content of labor tools, the aging of varieties, and the frequent disasters make the agriculture that people always pay close attention to can not jump out of the weak and inefficient "swamp". Thirdly, the turnover of agricultural capital is slow, there is a lack of leading enterprises in deep processing and finishing, and the grain produced can not be transformed on the spot in time. As a result, the contradiction of grain surplus has become increasingly prominent, and the phenomenon of "increasing production without increasing income" has become more and more common.

So, how to do well the capital operation? A group of farmers with high scientific, technological and cultural quality have made useful attempts in this regard: some take the initiative to learn the experience of "Hangang" and obtain the most benefits with minimum investment by reducing production costs. Some make full use of seasonal or regional price differences to find the selling points of the market and inject the ingredients of science and technology into their heads. As a result, the land is still that piece of land and the person is the same person, but the combination effect of the elements is not trivial. Grafting, formula fertilization, soilless transplanting and other technologies have turned "loess" into "gold". And so on, there are too many examples to enumerate.

Of course, the difficulty of comprehensively promoting capital operation in China's rural areas, which account for more than 80% of farmers, is obvious, but as long as we are people-oriented, pay attention to improving the scientific, technological and cultural quality of farmers, and arm farmers with more knowledge, we have every reason to believe that knowledge, information, science and technology and other software are organically combined with land, labor tools and other hardware. Capital operation will certainly blossom and bear fruit in the vast rural areas, and agricultural efficiency and farmers' income will no longer become "moon in the water" or "flower in the mirror".
