Last Updated: 2024/11/06, Argentine Exchange: the weather is hot and dry, and the sowing pace of soybeans in Argentina is accelerated.

(agricultural Wealth net) according to the weekly report released by the Buenos Aires Grain Exchange in Argentina on November 11th, sowing of soybeans has so far completed 33.8% of the planned area of 19 million hectares, up 21.7% from a week ago.

The hot and dry weather in most soybean-producing areas in Argentina over the past week has prompted farmers to speed up the pace of sowing.

Although the sowing conditions are ideal in most areas, the western and southern regions are still very dry, and farmers in these areas have to suspend sowing.

However, favorable rainfall is expected in the northwest in the next few days. The exchange still believes that farmers will complete the sowing plan.

The sown area of soybeans in Argentina this year is expected to be 7% higher than the previous historical record, mainly due to a decline in corn, sunflower seeds and wheat acreage.

Argentine soybean crops will also be strongly boosted by El Ni ñ o weather in 2009.
