(Agricultural Wealth Network) South Dakota corn production this year is expected to be 690 million bushels, in line with last month's forecast and up 18 percent from last year's actual production, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
South Dakota corn yields are projected at 150 bushels per acre on 4.6 million acres planted. If these predictions are true, it will be an all-time high.
South Dakota soybean production is forecast at 172.2 million bushels, up 3 percent from last month and up 25 percent from the year before. Soybean yields are expected to be 41 bushels.
