The Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Water Bureau of Jinfeng District has actively taken measures to prevent the adverse effects of snowfall, cooling and continuous overcast weather on greenhouse production, so as to ensure the safe production of facility agriculture.

On November 12, the Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Water Bureau of Jinfeng District held an emergency meeting, launched an emergency plan for disaster prevention and reduction, deployed the work of preventing heavy snow and temperature, and arranged for all centers to do a good job in snow prevention and freezing prevention of agricultural facilities.

Third, more than 500 leaflets on technical guidance measures against wind and freezing were printed and distributed to farmers in the facility park to guide farmers to remove snow on the shed surface in time according to the situation to prevent the greenhouse with low construction standards from collapsing; to cover the grass mat with a layer of plastic film or rain-proof cloth, which is not only thermal insulation but also easy to clean the snow, while protecting the grass. When the temperature in the shed is lower than 8-10 °C, heating stoves, electric heaters and high-power light bulbs can be installed in the shed, or plastic film or buckle small arched shed can be added in the shed; after the continuous cloudy and snowy weather clears up, pay attention to the appropriate return at noon to prevent flashing seedlings: when the weather clears up, pull up the grass as soon as possible, supplement the light, and increase the temperature in the shed. If the humidity in the shed is too high, it should be moderately ventilated after the external temperature rises to remove excess water and harmful gases. Fourth, during the holidays this week, one or two technicians should be arranged in each facility production base to do a good job of technical guidance.
