Kuala Lumpur, Dow Jones, according to data released by the Malaysian fuel oil association, due to the reduction in fuel demand from Europe and the United States in winter, Malaysia's biodiesel exports not only fell 36% in October from 15278 tons in the same month last year, but also reduced by 57% from 22765 tons in September to 9798 tons.

However, biodiesel exports from January to October this year have reached 200408 tons, surpassing the 182108 tons exported in 2008.

But not all of Malaysia's palm diesel production growth over the past 10 months has been exported to Europe because biodiesel generally has a higher freezing point than other oils, so it is not suitable to be mixed with other oils in winter. as a result, demand for biodiesel from the United States and Europe has been reduced.
