Brazil: rain will occur in major sugarcane producing areas in the south-central part of the country this week
According to Dow Jones weather news, there will be rain in the main sugar cane producing areas in south-central Brazil this week. But the afternoon rain will not disrupt the harvest.
Rainfall in the central and southern sugarcane producing areas will mainly occur later in the day this week, so sugarcane harvesting will continue for most of the day.
In the north of Sao Paulo, for example, 12 millimeters of rain is expected on Monday and less rain this week.
The crushing in the south-central sugar factory will continue until around December.
The weather is likely to worsen from November 20 to the end of the month, the meteorological agency said.
It is said that a cold front will bring heavy rain to Sao Paulo, Minas Gerais and Parana.
