The EU issued export licenses for 415000 tons of wheat in the week to November 10, up from 220000 tons last week, according to EU data.
In the first 19 weeks of this year, EU wheat exports totaled 6.6 million tons, down from 8.8 million tons in the same period last year. EU grain exports totaled 8.1 million tons, compared with 13.2 million tons in the same period last year.
In the week ending November 10, the European Union also issued import licenses for 20, 000 tons of wheat, down from 69000 tons last week.
In the first 19 weeks of this year, the total wheat imports of the European Union reached 2 million tons. Grain imports totaled 3.9 million tons, down from 5.2 million tons in the same period last year.
