Un Secretary-General calls for measures to deal with Food crisis

He called for measures such as emergency food assistance and social relief to be taken in the short term, and to achieve long-term goals by increasing investment in agricultural development, ensuring food production efficiency, protecting smallholder producers, promoting market access and fair trade.
