According to the Rosario Grain Exchange in Argentina, Argentina's grain export revenue is expected to reach US $20 billion in 2010, an increase of US $3 billion over this year, but still US $8 billion less than in 2008.

Argentina's total grain exports in 2010 are expected to be 77 million tons, up from 63 million tons in 2008 2008, but below the record level of 96 million tons in 2007 2008.

The resumption of exports will benefit farmers. Export taxes will reach $6.3 billion, which is also good news for the Argentine government.
