Relevant experts explain that space breeding technology is a method of carrying selected crop seeds onto a spaceship or a recoverable satellite, and through special environmental mutagenesis treatments such as heavy particles in space, alternating magnetic fields, microgravity, and high vacuum, the seeds themselves are broken, deleted, translocated, and recombined, and after returning to the ground, new crop varieties are cultivated through strict breeding.

Among them, Hangjiao 4, as the main variety, was widely planted in Shaanxi, Inner Mongolia and other major pepper producing areas.
