Find the right business opportunities, face the difficulties, Huang Yongde finally succeeded.

In 1995, when Huang Yongde was in his thirties, he resolutely abandoned his "iron rice bowl" and embarked on the road of starting a business. in 1999, when he had made small achievements in business, he decided to go to the countryside to be a cattle herder. He encountered several times when he had been raising cattle for more than a decade.

But he never flinched. It is his attitude towards life that he is burdened with debt, under pressure and laughing at difficulties.

In 2010, Huang Yongde paid off his debts; now, his herd has grown from 31 to more than 500, and he has become an honorary milk supplier of Mengniu Group.

"his entrepreneurial path can be written into a novel, tortuous and difficult." Huang Yongde's brother Huang Yongyue said.

Lay down the "iron rice bowl" and embark on the road of entrepreneurship

In 1987, after graduating from Luoyang Institute of Technology, Huang Yongde was assigned to work in Luoyang bearing Factory and picked up an enviable "iron rice bowl". A few years later, he became an engineer with a salary of more than 100 yuan a month and lived in a house shared by his unit.

However, he is not satisfied with this comfortable life. In 1995, Huang Yongde decided to resign. "quitting means there is nothing left. However, I still want to break out. " He told reporters.

After resigning, Huang Yongde went to Wuhan. He has worked as a salesman and a factory, and his entrepreneurial road has gone smoothly.

"useless" peanut seedlings bring new business opportunities

In the autumn of 1998, Huang Yongde returned to his hometown in Yanshi to help his family build a house. He found that after collecting peanuts, the villagers threw away a large number of peanut seedlings.

At that time, there was a popular saying in the village: there is a cow at home, so don't worry about eating and drinking. At the same time, the government also proposed to support the vegetable basket project and encourage straw to be returned to the field.

With so many peanut seedlings, why not feed them to sheep or cattle? Huang Yongde thought about it.

After investigation, Huang Yongde found that the family in the village generally raised only one cow, no more than three at most, and most of the milk produced in the village was sold to the Baimasi dairy farm. So he went to the White Horse Temple dairy farm to investigate. After that, he came to the conclusion that milk sells well and raising cows is feasible.

At that time, there were not many cattle farms in Luoyang, and Huang Yongde went to Beijing, Xi'an, Wuhan and other places to inspect cattle farms. He also bought more than 40 books about raising cattle. "you have to pay attention to science in raising cattle." Huang Yongde said.

The difficulties are not afraid to explore the "Classic of raising cattle".

In July 1999, Huang Yongde began to build warehouses and barns, purchase hay cutters, milking machines, and store forage. "every day, he sleeps in the field and feeds the mosquitoes." 'it 's nothing to bear hardships, 'Huang Yongde recalls.' it's hard to borrow money, but it's hard to buy cattle.

At that time, Huang Yongde had only 60, 000 yuan in savings, but he needed at least 300000 yuan to build a farm and buy cattle. After borrowing all the people who could borrow, I finally raised enough money, built the cowshed, and it became difficult to buy cattle. At that time, there was a shortage of dairy cows in the market, and the price was high, and high-quality dairy cows were even more difficult to find. In order to buy cattle, Huang Yongde repeatedly went to Shaanxi and other places.

After some twists and turns, he finally bought back 31 cows. In order to make the diet of cattle more reasonable, he feeds cattle and removes dung during the day, and reads materials and allocates feed at night. "365 days a year, my brother spends 340 days on the cattle farm." Huang Yongyue said.

Persist in starting a business in the face of setbacks

In the winter of 2000, foot-and-mouth disease hit, and more than half of the cattle in Huang Yongde's cattle farm could not eat properly because of the disease, let alone produce milk. "with so much money invested, you must grit your teeth and stick to it." He insists on feeding medicine and infusion to the cattle every day.

That year New Year's Eve and Huang Yongde spent alone in the cowshed. "A week later, the impact of foot-and-mouth disease subsided. I was happy." Huang Yongde sighed.

Life seems to like to test Huang Yongde. In 2004, the number of dairy cows in the dairy farm had grown to more than 100, but the epidemic fever came.

"it's hard to see a cow fall down." Huang Yongde said that due to improper medication, many cattle miscarried, and he lost nearly 400000 yuan at a time. At that time, he was expanding the barn and the funds were very tight. "watching the cattle in the farm eat the last meal without the next meal, I'm really freaking out." At that time, Huang Yongde said, he couldn't sleep at night and kept thinking about how to pay his debts. As soon as he gritted his teeth, he sold his family's house and continued to invest in the cattle farm.
