The ducks in rice fields have a wide range of activities, eat more omnivorous foods, have good coat color, strong limbs, and have a good market. They can also eat harmful insects, reduce the pests of rice, reduce the cost of pesticides, produce pollution-free rice and duck meat, and form duck manure fields to promote the growth of rice.

Brooding stage: farmers should pay great attention to the control of temperature and humidity, immune procedures are all in place, and fed full-price compound feed to improve the breeding rate of ducklings. After 1 month old, it was mainly stocked in paddy fields, and the concentrate was fed properly at night.

Preliminary preparation: after transplanting rice seedlings, surround the rice field to prevent weasels, cats and dogs from entering, and build a simple habitat for ducks in a corner of the rice field to prevent strong light and torrential rain.

Duck species selection: in order to prevent ducks from eating seedlings and pressing seedlings, smaller ducks can be selected for rice field breeding. If there are conditions, the hybrid breeds of wild duck and domestic duck can be selected, and the breeding effect is better.

Stocking time: after transplanting seedlings for 1-2 weeks, 1-2-week-old ducklings can be put into the rice field for breeding, regardless of day and night, ducks have been living in the rice field. In addition, because ducks like to eat rice ears, the duck should be recovered from the rice field in time when the rice is heading.

Stocking density: 6 ducklings per mu of rice field in the early stage and 7 ducklings per mu of rice field in the later stage.

Depth of water release: the depth of the water body in the paddy field is that the duck foot can just touch the soil, so that the duck can fully step on the soil in the process of activity, and the water body in the paddy field gradually deepens with the growth of the duck.

Supplementary feeding: in order to provide supplementary nutrition to ducks and speed up the growth rate of ducks, ducks are generally fed with auxiliary feed once a day, mainly with chopped rice, rice bran, wheat or a mixture of corn and fishmeal, or duck compound feed can also be used.
