Beans, eggplant and cabbage are the most common vegetables on the table. However, these vegetables, which thrive in the sun and rain, spend a "life" with pesticides: one bean is "fed" with 11 pesticides, one eggplant is mixed with four pesticides at once, and the vegetables that have just been sprayed are picked the next day and shipped to the market.

A reporter from Xinhua Viewpoint recently tracked the whole process of some vegetables in Anhui from the field to the table, and found that the detection of agricultural residues in the three circulation links had a "green light" all the way. For the detection of agricultural residues in vegetables, the relevant departments responded that they were both "uncontrollable" and "incomplete".

One bean was "fed" to 11 pesticides and vegetable farmers "took it for granted".

"now it's not easy to grow vegetables. You have to take medicine at the end of the day. Basically, there are no vegetables without medicine." Wang Mingcheng, a 66-year-old vegetable farmer in Hefei who is drugging beans, said that this month is basically a dozen a day, without medicine, there will be no harvest of vegetables.

Lao Wang's family has planted 3.5 mu of beans, which have been sown since early April and are now off the market. Not far from the ditch and pond, the reporter counted carefully, he hit a total of pesticides, including pesticides, fungicides, acaricides and other 3 categories of 11 kinds of pesticides. Among them, there are 7 kinds of insecticides, such as lattice cyhalothrin, cyhalothrin, etc.; there are 3 kinds of fungicides, such as Dr. Tanghuanong toxic fluorophosphate, Zhongbao Dubao morpholine guanidine, etc., and 1 kind of acaricides, such as acaricide.

Some vegetables are harvested before the safe interval is reached with a dozen pesticides a day. Zhang Tianbao, a vegetable farmer from Lujiang, said that pakchoi has too many diseases and insect pests, especially in summer. The drug seller said that if there is a dozen in a few days, there should be a safe interval. When we see bugs, we can't rest assured that it is basically a dozen a day. "sometimes the medicine is administered on the same day and harvested the next day." He said helplessly.

The dose is also determined by the vegetable farmers themselves. Dai Jixia, a vegetable farmer in Hexian County, said that in the past few days, there have been insect pests in her eggplant leaves. In order to save trouble, she mixed four kinds of pesticides, such as bifenthrin and methylaminoavermectin, which were given by pesticide dealers, and finished them at once. "now that you're taking medicine, don't you just fumble on your own? Anyway, we have to fight sooner or later, so we might as well fight together. "

Vegetable farmers are not surprised by the excessive use of medicine. Some vegetable farmers say that most of the registered crops are not self-grown vegetables on the pesticide packages bought every time. The reporter saw on the packaging where Uncle Wang beat beans, the registered crops were tomatoes, tobacco, and apple trees, while on the packaging of eggplant, the registered crops were cabbage, tomato, tea trees, and so on.

A vegetable farmer surnamed Tang in Hefei said that his beans grew bugs, and pesticide dealers sold him a card called cyhalothrin. After seeing the packaging in which the registered crop was cotton, he asked the drug seller, who said it could be used freely.

"take it for granted" is actually a helpless move for vegetable farmers. "one dose of medicine costs almost 40 yuan. so far, 1500 yuan has been invested in medicine alone, and the money for selling eggplant is not enough." Dai Jixia said: if there are no diseases and insect pests, who wants to take medicine? Now the diseases and insect pests are so serious that if we do not administer medicine, the production of vegetables will be reduced or even lose money; if there is guidance, who will fight indiscriminately? this is not a waste of money!

It is difficult to guarantee the safety of "green light" vegetables all the way to agricultural residue detection.

After eating vegetables that are "taken for granted", is there any guarantee of safety? The reporter tracked the vegetable fields in Anhui Province and counties to the vegetable market in Maanshan City.

On August 2, the reporter came to vegetable farmer Dai Jixia's eggplant field to learn that in order to control insect pests, she mixed four pesticides at once the day before and harvested them on the morning of the 3rd. However, in her use of permethrin packaging, the reporter saw that the drug registered crop tea tree, tomato safety interval is 7 days, 4 days.

"strictly speaking, those who do not apply drugs in accordance with registered crops are beyond the scope of drug use, and there are certain safety risks." At the same time, the safe interval of pesticides refers to the period from the last application to the period before harvest, said Duan Jinsheng, director of the pesticide residue detection room of the Institute of Plant Protection of Anhui Academy of Agricultural Sciences. If it is harvested during this period, it is not safe.

So, for such an eggplant, which is beyond the range of medication and does not comply with the safe interval at all, will there be pesticide residue testing during the process from the field to the table? The reporter tried to get the answer by tracking the whole process.

The first link (vegetable farmer-origin wholesale market): at 4:30 on the morning of the 3rd, Dai Jixia and her husband went to the vegetable field to pick eggplant; at 7:45, they loaded several baskets of eggplant into tractors and pulled them to the nearby Puji Wholesale vegetable Market. It was sold to Boss Cao, a trader who specializes in Maanshan. There is no agricultural residue detection in this link!
