Third, the breed of meat dog in our country is not standard and there is no real meat dog breed. Since there are no meat dog breeds, the meat dog breeds hyped by speculators are false and deceptive, and some breeders even sell local mixed dogs as meat dogs, harming farmers.

Fourth, the feeding technology is not yet mature, and the technical problems of large-scale feeding still need to be discussed.

Fifth, the deep processing of dog meat products remains to be developed.

Sixth, dog meat sales are greatly affected by seasons, seasonal consumption is strong, and there are differences in market demand in different regions.

On the one hand, because of the popular habit of eating dog meat in winter, and small sales in spring, summer and autumn, there is a large backlog of meat dogs and increase the cost of raising. On the other hand, there is no habit of eating dog meat in many places, and consumer demand is limited.
