I don't know when azaleas are becoming more and more popular and popular. Do you know the cultivation methods and precautions of azaleas who like azaleas?

First, environmental conditions: it is best to have indoor and indoor environments for the cultivation of rhododendron. The indoor environment is used in winter. Outdoor site, used in summer and autumn, it is better to use clay land, and avoid cement land. The site should be spacious, ventilated and shady, with shade sheds, covered with Reed curtains or protected by natural trees, with a light transmittance of about 30%. Avoid sunning at night.

Second, basin soil requirements: azaleas like loose, strong permeability, good drainage, humus-rich acid soil, the PH value is 5.0-6.0. If you use clay or alkaline soil, it is difficult to live. Summer cuckoos and rhododendrons, in particular, must be mountain soil. The mountain soil needs to be reformed. at present, three kinds of culture soil are usually used.

Third, flowerpot selection: cultivated rhododendron flowerpots, generally choose mud pots and purple sand pots. The mud basin is well ventilated and permeable, and it is used in the cultivation of production units. The molded azaleas, especially the modeled azaleas, are furnished for indoor and outdoor furnishings, generally planted in a beautiful and quaint purple sand basin with delicate texture, rich color and beautiful shape, which can double the ornamental value.

Fourth, improve water quality: it is best to use Rain Water to water azaleas, followed by river and pond water. If tap water is used, it is advisable to store the water for 2 days and let the chlorine volatilize and then use. Add 0.2% ferrous sulfate when you use it, and water it every 10 days during the growing season. Use it frequently to ensure that the soil is acidic.

Fifth, fertilizer and water management: azaleas like yin and dampness, should not be too dry. More moisture is needed during flowering. The azaleas have entered a dormant period in winter and do not require much water. They are generally watered every 4-5 days, and should be carried out around noon on sunny and warm days.

6. outdoor shading: there should be more sunlight before leaving the room and before civilization; during flowering, shading should be carried out for a short time at noon, with a light transmittance of 60%.

7. Shaping and pruning: azaleas grow slowly and are generally allowed to grow naturally, only after flowering, cutting off long branches, diseased and weak branches, deformed branches and damaged branches.

Eighth, disease prevention and pest control: military insects (also known as crown net bugs) are sprayed with 1500 times of dimethoate during the damage period, once every 7 days for 3 times in a row.

Matters needing attention in Rhododendron Culture

?

(1) Rhododendron is a typical acid soil flower. In order to prevent yellowing, 0.2% ferrous sulfate should be applied every 20 days. If it is found that the leaf color is yellow, spray 0.2% ferrous sulfate directly to the leaf surface, which can change the leaf from yellow to green.

(2) the family grows flowers. If you want the cuckoo to blossom during the Spring Festival, you can use the method of breaking its dormancy period. The spring cuckoo, which is about to have a bud, moves indoors to the sunny place in mid-December, keeping the room temperature above 5 ℃, applying thin fertilizer every 10 to 15 days, watering the basin soil and often spraying water on the leaves to increase humidity, so that it can blossom before the Spring Festival.

(3) the azaleas grow slowly and the pots can be changed every two years. The pots should be changed after the flowers fade. Fill in the new culture soil when changing the basin. Generally, 8 parts of rotten leaf soil (peat soil), 1 part of garden soil and 1 part of river sand were mixed and a small amount (about 50 grams per basin) of rotten oil residue or chicken manure was added as base fertilizer.

(4) during the growth period, adventitious buds are often easy to sprout on stems and branches, which should be erased in time so as not to disturb the plant type. After pregnancy, if you find that there are too many buds, you should remove the excess buds and leave only one bud per branch in order to concentrate nutrients and promote the flowers to be colorful. The residual flowers of rhododendron are not easy to fall off after flowering. In order to reduce nutrient consumption, the residual flowers should be removed in time to promote the germination of new buds.

In which month do azaleas bloom?

1. In fact, different rhododendron species bloom at different times in different areas. If rhododendrons are cultivated in greenhouses in the north, they can blossom in January-February, while on land, azaleas bloom in March-May. Azaleas at high altitudes will bloom from July to August.

2. Azaleas generally have three kinds of flowering periods. Spring rhododendrons usually bloom between April and May, all blooming first and then new leaves, while summer rhododendrons blossom first and then bloom from May to June. The flowering period of Spring and Summer Juan is between the two, and the compound leaves sprout almost at the same time, but now cuckoos that bloom all the year round are cultivated in some places.
