Angelica is a common medicine in our life, which is often used to treat gynecological diseases, such as dysmenorrhea, irregular menstruation, amenorrhea, etc., with the effects of tonifying blood and regulating menstruation, promoting blood circulation and relieving pain. Of course, it can treat gynecological diseases, there are still many other uses, such as the treatment of insomnia, forgetfulness, jaundice and so on. What the editor wants to share with you today is not the efficacy and function of Angelica sinensis, but the seedling breeding technology of Angelica sinensis. Let's take a look at how Angelica sinensis is raised.

1. Seedbed management

The breeding ground of Angelica sinensis should be selected in the black loam with leeward, sunny, flat terrain, no pollution of soil and water, fertile soil, rich humus and good drainage. In order to improve and clean up the soil of the seedling bed about ten days before sowing, it is usually necessary to carry out deep ploughing, clean up the impurities and gravel in the soil, fine the soil, apply sufficient chicken dung, cow dung and so on, and stir evenly. Finally, the soil is raked flat to make a bed, which is about one meter wide.

2. Seed treatment

Now the seeds of Angelica sinensis are sold in many places, and we'd better purchase them from regular seed operators. Then select two-to three-year-old seeds of normal maturity, good preservation, no diseases and insect pests, no mildew, and good quality. After selecting the seeds, soak the seeds in warm water for 24 hours, remove them, put them in a cotton bag and place them in an environment of about 20 degrees Celsius to accelerate germination. After about 80% of the seeds sprout, mix them in carbendazim and sow the seeds.

3. Scientific sowing

The time of sowing Angelica sinensis is generally at the end of April every year, during which the emergence rate of seeds is the highest. When sowing, we should spread the seeds evenly on the border, and then gently pat the seeds into the soil. Or use the way of strip sowing, start a shallow trench every ten centimeters, then sow the seeds evenly, cover the soil and cover the seeds. In order to promote seed emergence, we had better cover it with a layer of straw after sowing, which can play the role of heat preservation and moisturization and improve the speed of seed emergence.

4. Seedling cultivation

After the seeds of Angelica sinensis are sown, we have to carry out careful seedling management. Under normal circumstances, Angelica sinensis will emerge about 20 days after sowing, but if moisture and temperature are properly managed, it can emerge in about a week to ten days. In order to avoid sunburn of newly unearthed seedlings, it is best to build a shade in advance and control the shade at 1/2. When the seedlings grow out of three true leaves, we can lift the shade. In order to promote the growth of Angelica seedlings, we should pull out the weeds in the field in time, and then spray phoxim once a week for pest prevention, twice in a row. When the seedlings grow to about fifteen centimeters, we can select and transplant them.

In fact, the seedling technology of Angelica sinensis is similar to that of many medicinal herbs, and its seedling is relatively simple, and there is not much we need to pay attention to. I believe that through the reading above, we also have a general understanding of the breeding of Angelica sinensis. I hope everything will go well in the later planting process. At the same time, if you encounter other problems, you can also leave us a message for consultation.
