Long Shizhang did not believe that persimmons could be eaten raw before they were fully ripe. He was skeptical and only bought three sweet persimmon seedlings and two survived. When he first tasted sweet persimmons in 2008, long Shizhang was surprised that something similar to local persimmons could be eaten raw before it was really ripe. On February 25, 2009, long Shizhang, together with more than 20 forest fruit big families around, invited Wang Zhengdong, the county's old promotion president, and Lan Jiuxiang, a 76-year-old forest fruit expert, to Tian Tou to pass on their skills to guide them to graft sweet persimmon seedlings. Long Shizhang grafted nearly 200 sweet persimmons that year, and this year he has begun to hang fruit sporadically. "when this batch of sweet persimmons comes on the market, my forest fruit income will at least double."

Speaking of sweet persimmons, it is long Shizhang's "treasure", but when it comes to local hollow plums, that is also Lao long's "life". The lowest selling price of long Shizhang's plums is 3 yuan per jin. Because of the proximity to the city, most of the guests drive directly to the trees to pick them, and they are repeat customers. Lao long said: hollow plums yield about 3000 to 4000 jin per mu during the high yield period, and the lowest per unit yield income is about 8000 yuan, but it is a pity that their own fields are less, not that this is no worse than sweet persimmons.

You can't grow tall crops in the fields that develop forest and fruit. If you grow vegetables and sell them, you won't be able to do it in time. Long Shizhang decided to grow sweet potatoes and feed, potato vines, sweet potatoes are good pig feed. Long Shizhang built a "4050 model" pig house, using the original ecological breeding of forage crops under the tree. When I tried it this year, it became an instant hit. More than 40 pigs were sold that year. The annual income from selling pigs plus pears, plums and sweet persimmons is more than 180000 yuan.
