Wendeng: the Secret of standardized production for vegetable Farmers to become Rich
By promoting the construction of standardized production bases, Wendeng has continuously improved the level of standardized production and quality testing of agricultural products, and the number of pollution-free agricultural products has increased year after year. A few days ago, the reporter learned from relevant departments that the number of pollution-free agricultural products certified by Wendeng reached 128. In the first quarter, the city's pollution-free agricultural products sold more than 30,000 tons, and 20,000 farmers relied on this "golden key" to increase their income and become rich.
Sui Jiangqiu, a vegetable farmer in Nier Village, Songcun Town, planted 3 mu of tomatoes. Due to the use of biogas liquid to kill insects and fertilizers, weeding also depended entirely on labor, and there was no chemical fertilizer and pesticide pollution. This batch of tomatoes passed the pollution-free agricultural product certification of the city's agricultural department. This year, she has sold more than 5000 kilograms of tomatoes, 2 yuan more per kilogram than last year.
Sui Jiangqiu told reporters that the pollution-free tomatoes she planted had six knots (spikes), and now she has sold four knots. During this period, the price of vegetables is very good, selling 6.4 yuan per kilogram of tomatoes and earning more than 30,000 yuan. Now there are more than two sections of tomatoes left in the greenhouse, which can be sold until mid-June.
As a key town of vegetable production in the city, Songcun Town has been committed to the development of pollution-free vegetable cultivation for many years. The town encourages and guides vegetable farmers to vigorously develop pollution-free vegetable cultivation by establishing standardized production demonstration bases and setting up professional cooperatives for vegetable cultivation. The staff of the vegetable station in the town often go deep into the fields to provide vegetable farmers with a series of services such as technical training, production guidance, seedling supply, vegetable sales and so on. After several years of exploration and practice, Songcun Town has established and improved a set of standardized planting mechanism for the production of pollution-free vegetables. Last year, on the basis of successful experience in the construction of standardized production bases in previous years, the town further expanded the construction scale of standardized production bases and successfully introduced new technologies for pesticide reduction control, which effectively reduced the amount of drugs put in and used, and improved the quality of agricultural products. Tomatoes, cucumbers, kidney beans and celery produced by the town's standardized vegetable base have successively passed the certification of pollution-free agricultural products.
Yang Jinbao, a vegetable farmer in Nier Village, said that his cucumbers produced by pollution-free technology sell very well, with an average of 4 yuan per kilogram, which has been sold to large supermarkets in Weihai and Wendeng, and demand has been in short supply. According to Sun Zongrong, director of the vegetable station in Songcun Town, at present, the planting area of pollution-free vegetables in the town has reached more than 20, 000 mu, 13 new pollution-free certified products have been added, and the annual sales of pollution-free vegetables are more than 100000 tons.
In recent years, in order to encourage vegetable farmers to carry out standardized production, Wendeng has issued incentives for the certification of agricultural products and brand building, giving awards to pollution-free agricultural products, green food and organic food certified by the state, and guiding all kinds of enterprises and cooperative organizations to actively apply for "three products" certification. In addition, Wendeng also stepped up the quality inspection of agricultural products and took the lead in establishing a city, town and village inspection and testing system for the quality and safety of agricultural products in Weihai City. At present, 12 agricultural cooperatives in the city have set up rapid testing rooms for pesticide residues, and each town is also equipped with a set of rapid testing equipment for agricultural products in the town area. Zhang Yinlong, a member of Longhui vegetable Professional Cooperative in Songcun Town, told reporters that before entering the market, the vegetables purchased by their cooperatives must be tested for excessive pesticides and finished testing. Products that meet the testing standards can only be labeled before they can enter the market, and all unqualified products will be destroyed to ensure that the public can eat cabbage.
