Since the establishment of Zhennong cattle and Sheep fattening Farmers' Professional Cooperative in Beistierke Township, Jimunai County, farmers and herdsmen have come to Zhennong cattle and Sheep fattening Farmers to cooperate professionally, sign cooperation agreements and become members of the cooperative.

In 2011, with the help of the party committee and government of Bestereke Township, Jimunai County, six farmers with experience in fattening cattle and sheep, scientific breeding technology and sales channels set up cooperatives and established Zhennong cattle and sheep fattening cooperatives covering an area of 25 mu. In the first phase of the cooperative project, a total of 4 cowsheds, 1 sheep shed and 1 stock bank will be built. Each barn can fatten 30 cattle at a time, and each sheepshed can fatten 300 sheep at one time. So far, the cooperative has produced four batches of cattle and four batches of sheep, of which 400 cattle and 1500 sheep have been produced, with a net income of more than 500000 yuan.

Ye Jiming, head of the Zhennong cattle and Sheep fattening Farmers' Professional Cooperative in Beistierke Township, Jimunai County, said: "We officially started fattening work in October 2011. We have issued four batches of fattening, and business is very good. Now there are 80 cattle and 300 sheep in the circle. Now there are four migrant workers. In the future, we will expand the scale, drive more labor force and increase their income."

It is understood that on the basis of driving farmers to become rich, the cooperative also absorbs poor households to join the cooperative and promotes the development of poor households. Poor households join cooperatives in the form of shares of poverty alleviation livestock and self-supporting livestock issued by the Poverty Alleviation Office, and enjoy column dividends. In addition to dividends, poor households can also earn remuneration by working in cooperatives. At present, the cooperative has absorbed 28 poor households.

In 2012, the cooperative is ready to start the second phase of expansion, expanding the fattening scale and adding three sheepfolds, which will greatly increase the production scale. Cooperatives through poverty alleviation projects to support and expand the scale of production, will be built into the county beef cattle, sheep supply base and the township forage reserve base. The cooperative will create a new model of cooperatives + poor households + poverty mutual funds, so as to enable more poor households to join cooperatives, expand the scale of cooperatives, drive more poor households to become rich, and liberate more labor force and go out to work. Increase income.

Karima, a worker at Zhennong cattle and Sheep fattening Farmers' Professional Cooperative in Bestrek Township, Jimunai County, said: "We have been working here for five to six months, with a monthly salary of 1500 yuan. We go out to work every year, and we will not go out to work this year. I'm working on my doorstep."
