During the double festival, people were immersed in a happy atmosphere, but the 840 fishermen in Lu Cunying Township of Cixian County looked sad. On August 30, in order to improve the water quality of Dongwushi Reservoir (also known as Yiquan Lake), an important spare water source in Handan City, and strive to create the ecological environment of Bibo Water Township, the governments of Handan City and Cixian County made a decisive decision to resolutely clean up and ban reservoir cage fish culture in accordance with the law. Looking at the tens of thousands of jin of stored fish in their cages, the farmers were worried, "who do you sell the fish to?"

According to the reporter's investigation, the existing stock of fish in Yiquan Lake is nearly 46 million jin, and they need to be sold by October 20, otherwise they will be cleaned up and renovated.

Fisherman: "Heart-wrenching Fish" urgently looking for an exit

At a fish selling spot in Nanguo Village, Lucunying Township, three or five fish trucks were parked on the narrow road, with fish fishers, boxed and weighed, and there was a busy scene. Learning that the reporter had come to learn about the situation of selling fish, several busy fishermen could not help talking to the reporter. Nanning Village is a big fish culture village. There are 76 fish farmers in the village. I have been raising fish for more than 20 years. I have raised almost 400000 jin of fish this year, and now more than half of them have not been sold. I don't want to make a profit now, just don't lose too much. " A fisherman surnamed Yang said with a wry smile.

There are 43 fish farmers in Nanguo Village. One fisherman said that what bothers them most is that there is no market for small fish fry. "Adult fish are good enough to say that semi-adult fish and fry are not easy to sell. There is no market for fish fry, and they cannot be sold. Now those who come to pull the fish are picking up the finished fish, but this is not enough. No one cares about the small fish fry that weigh less than two kilos. "

At the fishing site, the reporter learned one after another from the fishermen that most of the fishermen in Lu Cunying Township raise carp, grass carp, silver carp, carp, crucian carp, catfish and three-gunfish, but the number is very small. Compared with last year, the price is almost half lower. "for example, grass carp, in previous years, adult fish could be sold for 9 yuan a jin, but now they are sold for about 5 yuan. The price of adult carp is 6 yuan, which is also sold at a halved price. The most distressing thing is silver carp, which has many spines, which is not very popular with buyers in the first place. Adult fish are not expensive in the first place. They sell for RMB 2.80 a jin, but now they are sold for NT $1.40, not to mention half-yearly silver carp with less than one jin and eighty taels. No one wants them at all! " Nanning Village, a female fisherman surnamed Yang said.
