The reporter learned from the provincial animal husbandry bureau that ecological chicken breeding is a common way to produce high-grade poultry products at home and abroad. The provincial government and the provincial animal husbandry bureau have also given some support to the ecological chicken industry. It is understood that ecological eggs made in Hubei are becoming popular in the market both inside and outside the province. In the Wuhan market, it is generally sold for 1.4 to 1.6 yuan per piece, and up to 3 yuan per piece in Beijing, Shanghai, Zhejiang and other places.

When there is a bottleneck on the road of development, it is urgent for the government to lend a hand.

Since the second half of last year, 90 chicken raising enterprises, cooperative organizations and individuals in the province have passed the identification of ecological chicken production mode. In order to prevent the decline of product quality caused by the change of the mode of production after the first identification, the certificate and announcement are only valid for one batch of production.

At present, the identification and management of ecological chicken production mode is still carried out spontaneously by the association, and the enthusiasm of local government participation is not high, facing the dilemma of insufficient funds and personnel. In addition, ecological chicken farming is dominated by cooperatives, and most of them produce and sell themselves. Because the recognition of ecological chicken farming has not been carried out soon, the market awareness is not high, farmers do not benefit much, and even some farmers are still in a state of loss. To a certain extent, it restricts the development of ecological chicken industry in our province.

"We are very good at the eco-chicken and egg market, but at present there is a lot of resistance. Fake native eggs sell better than real ones. Those of us who really want to sell ecological eggs are not well-off, and some of them are still losing money." Huang Hai said that there are three main reasons for this situation: first, the identification of ecological chicken breeding and product publicity is not enough; second, the ecological chicken and egg market is difficult to distinguish between true and false, too chaotic; third, the lack of policy support for the breeding and marketing of ecological chickens.

Li Chaoguo suggested that governments at all levels should incorporate ecological chicken farming as a resource-saving and environment-friendly industry into the industrial development plan, support its healthy development, become bigger and stronger, and increase the publicity of ecological chicken breeding behavior and products. let more people know about ecological chicken farming and improve their ability to identify ecological chicken products. Introduce relevant rules to regulate the production and sale of ecological poultry, especially to make a strict distinction between ordinary poultry products and ecological poultry products, and strengthen supervision.
