National Agricultural Science and Technology Service Cloud platform officially launched

On January 26, at the site of the National Agricultural Exhibition Hall Beautiful Village Expo, the national agricultural science and technology service cloud platform was officially launched, and Zhang Taolin, vice minister of agriculture, attended the launching ceremony.

The national agricultural science and technology service cloud platform is an overall integrated service platform for agricultural science and technology services, which is designed and constructed by the Department of Science, Technology and Education of the Ministry of Agriculture based on cloud computing and big data. The cloud platform includes six special sub-platforms: system integrated business, intelligent farmers, agricultural technology extension, scientific and technological innovation support, achievements transformation and promotion and circular agriculture, as well as the national agricultural science, technology and education environmental energy integrated business management system, intelligent farmers online training system, grass-roots agricultural technology extension integrated business system, modern agricultural industrial technology system integrated business platform system and other 16 core business systems. The purpose is to integrate the relevant resources of the agricultural science and education system, open up the channels of economy and science and technology, promote the innovation of agricultural science and technology, the transformation and application of achievements and the cultivation of new professional farmers, and fully support the development of modern agriculture. The cloud platform will open the last meter of agricultural science and technology information service and realize mobile interconnection by issuing "Zhi Nong card" registered under real name for experts, agricultural technicians and farmers free of charge. Provide accurate, timely and consulting scientific and technological information services for the broad masses of farmers and all kinds of modern agricultural production and operation subjects, and ensure and improve the occupancy rate and arrival rate of agricultural science and technology. Effectively support the development of rural financial services and e-commerce.

Tang Ke, director of the Department of Science, Technology and Education of the Ministry of Agriculture, said that the next step will be to support and encourage the establishment of local sub-platforms by promoting the joint construction of ministries and provinces, and a number of provinces with mature conditions and high enthusiasm will be selected in each region this year. It will be identified as a pilot province for the integration and promotion of cloud platform, and a number of modern agricultural industrial technology systems, key laboratories of the Ministry of Agriculture, and national agricultural science and technology innovation and integration demonstration bases will be selected as cloud platform integrated application demonstration bases.
