Wang Baoxia, who is over 50 years old, is a restless woman. Originally an associate professor of sports at Huazhong University of Science and Technology, she went to the mountains to grow rice in her spare time.

This kind of does not matter, but also with that side of the landscape kind of feelings. As soon as she had two days off, she drove her SUV into the mountains. Even if it's all right, it's comfortable to chat with the villagers.

On the 19th, the reporter went to Tanlin Town, Qichun County for an interview and met Wang Baoxia, who happened to come to check the growth of rice.

60 mu of rice fields are scattered on the hillside of Zhengchong Village, which is 200 to 600 meters above sea level. The rice at the foot of the mountain has been golden, but here it is still green and has just entered the fruiting stage.

Looking at the well-growing rice, Xu Bo, the party committee secretary of the town, was particularly happy. He is a staunch supporter of Wang Baoxia. At the beginning of the year, when she heard that Wang Baoxia wanted to be in this kind of rouge rice, she found a remote Zhengchong village and quickly implemented 60 mu of abandoned paddy fields.

In Qichun, Wang Baoxia is a celebrity.

Ten years ago, she was restless and egged on by her old classmates and went to Tanlin Town to plant trees in Baoshan.

Tanlin Town is bordered by Yingshan to the north and Anhui to the east, with barren hills and woodland. When the locals heard that the boss of the city had come to pack the mountain, they all wanted to give it to her. In one breath, she took over nearly ten thousand mu of mountain.

After a lot of hardships, six years of planting trees and ten years of forest protection. The ecological environment of Tanlin town is getting better and better.

What Wang Baoxia did not expect is that the investment of millions of yuan has so far yielded no return, and a good ecology cannot bring a direct effect on the wealth of the local villagers.

No one will invest in the development of tourism and no one will spend on the construction of farmhouse music. In the expectant eyes of the villagers, she went out on an inspection tour and finally made up her mind to develop characteristic agricultural products.

The first choice is to grow tea and rice. Last year, she led the villagers to sort out more than 200 mu of tea gardens that had been abandoned in the village for more than a decade to develop alpine organic tea. this year, spring tea became popular and entered the Beijing market.

At the beginning of this year, he invited Zhang Xisong, a provincial rice expert, as a consultant to develop rouge rice. She produces seeds, pays wages, and asks farmers to farm. It is agreed with the villagers that when the rice is ripe, regardless of the abundance and apology, it will be purchased according to the local average per unit yield, and another 200 yuan per mu will be subsidized to the villagers.

Of course, the villagers are willing to do such a thing. However, Wang Baoxia's requirements are also stringent. All rice fields are irrigated by mountain springs, without chemical fertilizer or medicine, so as to ensure that they are green and organic.

This is what Wang Baoxia talks about every time she enters the village, and the villagers also know that the women in this city are unusual. It is said that the rice planted is specially for the lunar children, and there is no pollution at all.

Earlier this month, a mother and daughter came to a restaurant in a residential district in Beijing. The strange thing is that every time the mother and daughter come to the restaurant, they bring a small bag of rice and ask the master to process it.

At first, the master refused to do it and did not eat ready-made rice, so it was troublesome to process it separately. The mother had to plead with the boss, and after asking why, the boss processed the rice for them for a week for free.

It turned out that Wang Baoxia came to Beijing to live at her daughter's house, specially to find the team of the Central Academy of Fine Arts to design sandalwood rouge rice packaging for her. She carried dozens of jin of rouge rice to Beijing just to invite Beijing diners to have a taste to see what the rice was like.

Pink soft waxy, fragrance to the nostrils. Every time she comes out of the pot, Wang Baoxia warmly invites the diners around her to taste it for free. From the expression of satisfaction, she has more confidence in the self-grown carmine organic rice.

At present, Wang Baoxia has registered two brands, one is "Yuezihong" rouge rice, the other is "Qihong" rouge rice. "Yuezi Hong" is positioned at the high end, with more than 100 yuan per kilogram, specializing in the sales channels of Yuezi centers around the country. "Qihong" positioning is slightly lower, into the supermarket, the price is more than 70 yuan per kilogram. At present, some orders have been received. It will be available in mid-October.

Both are organic rice, why two brands and two kinds of pricing? It turns out that "Yuezihong" grows at an altitude of more than 400 meters, and its yield is low. It is irrigated entirely by mountain springs and planted strictly in accordance with organic requirements. "Qihong" has the advantages of lower altitude, high yield and some differences in irrigation water. "this year is only a trial planting, and once it is approved by the market, we will certainly expand the scale next year and strive to make use of the abandoned paddy fields in Zhengchong village and neighboring villages." Wang Baoxia is full of longing for the future.
