Raise blue foxes and embark on the road to prosperity
Today, special farming has become a way for many villagers to get rich, and Su Qinxia is one of them. Walking into Suqinxia's blue fox breeding base, rows of neat cages, white, black and tan blue foxes are taking a nap in the warm sun.
Su Qinxia, 49 years old, is a fresh farmer of Liaohe Farm in Liaohe Land Reclamation Management area, and is a professional farmer of blue fox breeding. There are nearly 8000 breeding foxes, and about 5000 blue foxes are produced annually, with an annual output value of 6 million yuan and an income of nearly 4 million yuan.
In the winter of 1995, Su Qinxia bought a high-grade coat in a shopping mall in the city. The price at that time was 2700 yuan. The shop assistant said that the coat had a blue fox fur collar and was worth more than 1000 yuan. The speaker has no intention, but the listener has the heart. Su Qinxia thought, the blue fox skin is so valuable, raising the blue fox must make money. So the next year she got in touch with CCTV's second set of agricultural programs and learned that there was a fox for sale in Hebei Province, so she went to Hebei's leather market to inspect it. In June 1997, she and her husband decided to set up a blue fox farm, purchasing 15 groups at a time, with a total investment of 150000 yuan.
In the second year of breeding, 225 blue foxes were born and 195 survived. However, it coincided with the worldwide economic crisis at that time, and the price of fox skin dropped again and again, coupled with the fact that the breed of foxes they had entered was already an obsolete breed in China at that time, and the price of fox skin fell to a trough, losing more than 100,000 yuan at that time. In the face of this situation, Su Qinxia analyzed the situation at that time, and there were only two ways in front of them: one is to dismount immediately and would rather pay for it than do it; the other is to continue to work hard to the end. After careful analysis and study, the couple are determined to see it through to the end. In 1999, Su Qinxia made a high-interest loan of 40,000 yuan to buy fine American blue fox, Finnish second generation, snow fox and other varieties. With the improvement of the economic crisis, the price of each fox skin gradually rebounded, which also brought a new dawn to Su Qinxia's breeding career, and earned back the money invested that year.
After earning back the capital, Su Qinxia further expanded the scale of breeding and left 100 female foxes in 2008, with a gross income of nearly 400000 yuan. In addition, she began to practice scientific reproduction and artificial insemination. Make breeding, breeding, marketing one-stop, but also built a 20-ton cold storage for farmers to use. In 2009, Su Qinxia bought two more cows to feed blue foxes with milk to increase nutrition, and then planted 1.2 hectares of responsible fields with cow and fox dung, which can save the cost of chemical fertilizer and improve the economic benefits of farming.
In 2010, Su Qinxia moved the blue fox farm to an old brick factory and built a new blue fox farm of more than 10,000 square meters. She also adopted the way of selling on credit to drive the fresh farms and surrounding villagers to develop the blue fox breeding industry, and often came to provide technical services, so that the villagers gradually embarked on the road of raising blue foxes to become rich.
