Yan Lanhu: returning to his hometown to start a "new farmer" to lead the villagers to become rich
"in the past, farmers relied on heaven for a living, but now they rely on specialized cultivation and large-scale management, and they have to be professional as farmers." Recently, in Dazhuang Village, Lanbao Town, Lanhu pointed to the terraces on the mountain and said. The 54-year-old Yan Lanhu is the first batch of new professional farmers identified by Shenmu. He contracted land for large-scale cultivation and set up a breeding farm. He is a well-known local farmer.
As a native farmer, Jian Lanhu's agricultural road has also experienced many twists and turns. After graduating from high school, Luo Lanhu went home to farm and opened a meat shop in the city. after more than a decade of hard work, he made up his mind to return to the countryside and realize his dream of agriculture on the vast land. "Land is the lifeblood of our farmers, and we can't give up at any time." He said, "I have lived in rural areas since I was a child, and I am sure to return to rural areas for development. When I was elected head of the village in 2011, I saw that most of the land in the village was barren, most of the young people went to work in the city, and only the old people were left to farm the land. I think I must take the lead to go back to my hometown for farming. "

Yan Lanhu transferred more than 1200 mu of idle land in the village to his hands. He firmly believed that there was "gold" in the loess and that growing grain could shake off poverty and become rich. "these lands are transferred and integrated with the land scattered by farmers or abandoned land. Land transfer makes mechanized planting a reality, and large-scale planting increases production and farmers' income." Yan Lanhu summed up. This year, Hu Lanhu and four other big growers in the village jointly contracted to grow crops, including plastic film corn, potatoes, oil, millet, soybeans and so on.
Driven by the Lan Lanhu, farmers' enthusiasm for planting has also risen. In 2012, under the guidance of the town and village leadership, the "Dazhuang group" set up the farmers' professional cooperative in "Dazhuang Village". Lan Lanhu led the villagers to level more than 1600 mu of land, leveled the mountains into terraced fields, and built a 1000-mu dry farming demonstration village in Shenmu County. changed the traditional planting pattern to mechanized operation. Among them, tractors, tillers, film mulching machines, potato planters, harvesters and other large machinery have greatly improved the efficiency of planting and harvesting.
While engaging in large-scale cultivation of land, Qiu Lanhu also developed the aquaculture industry. Through bank loans, self-financing and other means, he invested 1.2 million yuan to build a standardized farm. Go into the breeding area, sheep shed, disinfection room, feed processing room, forage storage room is readily available. The main breed of white cashmere goats on the farm is white cashmere goats. At present, there are more than 280cashmere goats, with a maximum of more than 600. this year, more than 100 have been sold, with an income of more than 100000 yuan.
The Lan Lanhu checks the health status of the adopted son in the farm.
In the farm, the tigers feed grass to the cashmere goats quickly, and then pick up the lambs to observe their health. "raising sheep has less risk of epidemic disease, so it is important to do a good job of feeding grass and cleaning." Speaking of the experience of raising sheep, he said eloquently, "We do not feed sheep. The 'staple food' is alfalfa. Here is rich in forage resources, including 3000 mu of natural grassland and 1000 mu of artificial alfalfa grassland. Therefore, green pollution-free mutton is our characteristic. Customers come to the door on their own."
Gan Lanhu was busy farming and feeding sheep every day, and asked him if he would work very hard. He smiled and said, "now the living conditions in the countryside have become better. The village has cement roads, it is convenient to travel, the air is good, and it is very comfortable." There are broad prospects for the development of aquaculture. In the next step, I intend to continue to contract land, expand farms, build their own organic meat brand, and realize the circular development of farming.
In the interview, the author deeply felt that in the vast rural world, new farmers like Luo Lanhu made use of their funds, skills, and information to let go and try boldly, which not only solved the employment problem of rural surplus labor, but also accelerated the pace of increasing farmers' income, but also will promote the prosperity and development of the rural economy.
