"Goo-goo." In the rock area of the third group of Chaolong Village, Shangma Town, Naxi District, Luzhou City, a young man is often seen in the depths of the woods with his girlfriend, accompanied by a flock of chickens, mowing, feeding and epidemic prevention. The young man is a college student from Xiangxi, Hunan Province. His name is Gao Jixian. He is 27 years old. He has been here alone to study ecological chicken farming for six years.

His girlfriend Jian Xue worked as an assistant to Gao Jixian, learning the skills of raising chickens.

Today, Gao Jixian not only has a breeding base with an annual income of 300000 yuan, has bought commercial housing in the town, but also won the heart of a local girl, Jane Xue, giving him a bumper harvest in career and love.

Go to a foreign land to raise chickens "Zhenjing"

In September 2009, after Gao Jixian saw a report on the Internet that a farmer named Gu Bangze in Haibengqiao Village, Shangma Town, Naxi District, raised pheasants to get rich, he envied and thought of the vast market for pheasant farming. If he can go to Xuecheng and take the road of pheasant farming, he will definitely be able to break through the world. A month later, Gao Jixian came to Haibengqiao Village alone and worshiped Gu Bangze as his teacher.

In order to master the technology of pheasant breeding, Gao Jixian learned from the temperature control of the pheasant nursery and vaccination of chickens. He volunteered for work when the pheasant was sick or in bad condition. Every month, thousands of pheasants in the breeding base need to be vaccinated and prevented from disease, and Gao Jixian took the initiative to bear it alone. In order to learn the brooding skills of pheasants, he was busy managing during the day and was on duty in the greenhouse at night. During the period when each batch of new pheasant fry was hatched, Gao Jixian did not get a good night's sleep. At ordinary times, Gao Jixian paid attention to observe the life habits of pheasants, and asked the teacher for advice if he didn't understand, and Gu Bangze unreservedly explained it to him.

After three years of study, Gao Jixian basically mastered the pheasant's habits and related disease prevention and control knowledge, and became the teacher's right-hand man. Gu Bangze simply hired him as a professional and technical staff in the farm and offered him a monthly salary of 3000 yuan. Let Gao Jixian stay.

Aim at the gap and start a business for half a year to earn 200000 yuan.

"now that I can start my own business, I can't do without the support my teacher provided me with free woodland a few years ago, allowing me to raise pheasants on my own to increase my income during the gap when I didn't incubate pheasant seedlings." Gao Jixian said.

From October to March of the following year, the hatching of pheasant chicks stops because of the cold weather. In the face of the gap of nearly half a year, since 2012, Gao Jixian has invested in building pheasant farms by making use of some of the mountain forests contracted by Gu Bangze, raising more than 3000 commercial pheasants every year to increase income. Before stocking, Gao Jixian, based on the fact that pheasants need six months to grow to weigh more than 3 jin, basically chose the feeding time in August and September in order to sell a good price before and after the Spring Festival. In order to ensure the quality of pheasants, Gao Jixian not only allowed pheasants to run and look for food in mountain sheds, but also adopted comprehensive techniques to raise pheasants. After crushing the corn, he added soybean meal, wheat bran, traditional Chinese medicine and other ingredients in a certain proportion to prepare a feed suitable for the growth of pheasants. After feeding for one month, the pheasants were fed with trapped insects every morning. The insects trapped by solar purple light are the high quality animal protein feed needed by pheasants.

These six-month-old pheasants have fresh and tender meat and strong wild flavor, so they have no worries at all. In particular, there are few pheasants on the market before and after the Spring Festival. The price of each pheasant is 10 yuan to 20 yuan higher than usual, and it can be sold for 120 yuan. Excluding the cost of 60 yuan, the net profit can reach 60 yuan. Over the past six months, Gao Jixian has earned 200000 yuan.

Want to take the villagers to get rich together.

Gao Jixian helped Gu Pang Ze hatch chickens in the first half of the year and raised pheasants in the second half of the year, which gave him a net income of more than 200,000 yuan a year.

In order to raise chickens at ease, Gao Jixian bought a commercial house of more than 120 square meters in Shangma Town. In this way, Gao Jixian also had his own home in a foreign land. Although he bought a house in the market town, Gao Jixian still lives in the mountains and jungles and deals with pheasants all day long.

What Gao Jixian did not expect was that his six-year persistent story of raising chickens not only spread well outside the village, but also attracted the attention of a girl named Jian Xue in the neighboring village. In early March this year, Gao Jixian established a romantic relationship with Jian Xue under the matchmaking of a local enthusiastic elder sister. After falling in love, Jian Xue came to work as an assistant for Gao Jixian to incubate chicken seedlings to learn the skills of raising pheasants.

In May this year, in order to take care of Jian Xue's father who was at home alone and develop his chicken raising business, Gao Jixian invested more than 100,000 yuan to circle more than 50 mu in the forest behind Jian Xue's family as a breeding base, and raised more than 7000 ecological native chickens in a circular way. It is expected that from October, Gao Jixian will have thousands of native chickens on the market every month. Talking about his future plans, Gao Jixian wants to set up a special cooperative to drive the surrounding villagers to raise chickens under the forest to increase their income and become rich.
