Jiang Zhimin: make the grape picking industry bigger
Jiang Zhimin is picking grapes.
"Hello, would you like some mountain grapes?" "six to eight taels of wine can be produced from a jin of fresh mountain grapes. How many jin do you want?" A few days ago, Jiang Zhimin, who grows grapes, is docking his business with his customers. It is understood that Jiang Zhimin's income from selling grapes this year has exceeded 40,000 yuan.
Starting from Mo Banner, a ten-minute drive, the reporter came to Nierji Town Dongsheng Village Erbald Grape picking Garden, 4 greenhouses, a string of grapes is particularly lovable. Jiang Zhimin, the owner of the greenhouse, is busy picking grapes for his customers.
Jiang Zhimin, a 36-year-old native of Arong Banner, came to live in Dongsheng Village, Nierji Town, Moqi at the age of 15 and became a family in Moqi. Jiang Zhimin's mother said, "because I moved here later, I didn't have any land, but my own garden was big, so I thought I'd grow some valuable crops. After experiments, I decided to grow grapes." Speaking of growing grapes, Jiang Zhimin said, "at the beginning, my father-in-law planted some grapes in the yard and the grapes grew very well." At that time, few people in Moqi planted grapes, because everyone thought that the accumulated temperature here was not enough, and even if they were alive, the grapes would not be delicious. With the idea of giving it a try, I planted a few trees in the yard, and those grapes grew very well, so I decided to develop the grape growing industry. "
In 2008, Jiang Zhimin began to grow grapes. at first, he did not build a greenhouse, but planted 1000 grapes directly in the garden. Jiang Zhimin is really inexperienced. "I planted it when I wanted to plant a tree," he said. "not only did I not ask others for advice, but also I did not seriously study the maturity of various grape varieties and other relevant contents. I randomly selected some varieties and planted them." Since planting the vine, Jiang Zhimin has taken good care of these young plants. two or three years have passed in the twinkling of an eye, but his grapes do not bear fruit. At this time, Jiang Zhimin understood that the grapes planted before were not suitable for the climate here. As a result, after careful research, the original vines were basically eliminated, planting summer black, Victoria, bauhinia roses and other varieties, and then planted grapes to bear fruit in 2010.
Jiang Zhimin's grapes have been picked since 2011. Since that year, there have been three sales channels for his grapes. Tourists go to the garden to pick, wholesale and retail. Jiang Zhimin said: "the sales situation in recent years is relatively stable. Basically, each of the three sales methods accounts for 1/3. Retail is mainly aimed at grapes of poor quality, and the price is slightly lower." Jiang Zhimin said: "my vineyard now has four sheds covering an area of 6 mu. These four sheds have been built one after another. In 2011, his wife Ren Xianxin set up a farmers' professional cooperative. In 2013, the Banner Women's Federation learned that we were in urgent need of development funds. We received an interest-free loan of 50,000 yuan, and after building two more sheds, we now have four greenhouses." Ren Xianxin said: "from April to the end of July, we basically have to chase farm manure every half a month. There are fox dung and chicken manure, which are sent home for a truckload of 180 yuan, and it is very hard to top up the grapes so that everyone can eat the grapes at ease."
Jiang Zhimin calculated an account. He said: "my family now covers an area of 6 mu of grapes, and last year's income was 80,000 yuan. If the income from planting soybeans in these areas is 5,000 to 6,000 yuan, if there is less land, we have to grow cash crops." My family has a large garden area, and now I am thinking about doing farm music on the basis of picking. Only if there are more projects can we retain more people. At present, I am looking for someone who can help me make plans, and I want to expand the picking industry. "
