Yan Man didn't talk much and always had a sweet smile on her face. If it weren't for the hearing aid hanging on her ear, it would be hard to believe that this optimistic and cheerful girl's hearing in one ear was almost zero.

Golden autumn has come, Yan Man also ushered in the harvest season: although the start-up time is not long, but she raised pigeons in Wuhan major farmers 'markets, restaurants in short supply, but also for the surrounding farmers to provide breeding pigeons, annual sales of more than 3 million yuan.

Since you can't find a job, work for yourself-

Graduates of Academy of Fine Arts choose to raise pigeons to become rich

In 1989, Yan Man was born in an ordinary family in Hubei Province. When he was a child, he lost hearing in one ear due to improper medication. This made her life more difficult than ordinary people, and also refined her tenacious personality. "Since she was young, she has worked twice as hard as others. When others are playing, she is reading books and doing questions. She will never lag behind others." Yan Man's mother told reporters.

Yan Man graduated from Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts in 2013. Although her grades were excellent, she did not find a job smoothly."Many times, I went to the company to apply for a job. People saw the hearing aid I wore and were unwilling to give me a chance." The number of times he ran into a wall increased. Yan Manheng, who was stubborn, decided that since he couldn't find a suitable job, he would become his own boss and work for himself.

What project to choose? Yan Man intends to do agriculture, and spent half a year inspecting the market,"I went to Henan, Hunan and other provinces, ran all over the local farmers 'market, finally decided to raise pigeons."

In 2014, Yan Man and his companions from Wuhan Vocational and Technical College registered and established Wuhan Hongfei Pigeon Industry Technology Co., Ltd. in Qingshan, and built an ecological pigeon breeding base covering an area of more than 100 mu in Luohan Street, Huangpi District.

You don't need a paintbrush to paint something wonderful--

Proposed Hubei large-scale pigeon breeding base

The hand that originally held the brush is now used to raise pigeons, spanning so much, Yan Man admitted that "there have been many obstacles in the middle".

Because of the lack of initial funds, she only bought 1000 pairs of white king pigeons and grey king pigeons at the beginning. "When I went to the field to investigate the market, I also went undercover in the local farms to steal pigeon breeding techniques. I thought it was easy to raise pigeons, but after the base was built, despite careful feeding, pigeons continued to die, and more than 400 died in two months."

Looking at the pigeons that were decreasing every day, Yan Man was very anxious. Should she give up or insist? In the end, she refused to admit defeat and chose to "lose clearly" and must find out where the problem lies.

During that time, Yan Man ate and lived at the pigeon breeding base. She only slept a few hours a day and spent most of her time observing the pigeons. Eventually she discovered that pigeons died because disease prevention techniques were not in place. While consulting experts, she bought a large number of breeding books to teach herself pigeon raising technology. Finally, Yan Man, who became a monk halfway, became an expert in pigeon breeding.

Yan Man, who loves to use her brain, is also brave in innovation. The automatic mechanical breeding system independently developed by her not only improves the breeding efficiency, but also reduces the labor cost. "With traditional artificial breeding, one worker can feed up to 14 pairs of pigeons, while with mechanical feeding, one machine can feed 54 pairs of pigeons simultaneously." This means that one machine can replace four workers."

At present, the annual stock of Hongfei pigeon industry is more than 8000 pairs, and it is planned to stock more than 30000 pairs-50000 pairs in the next two to three years, filling the blank of no large-scale pigeon breeding base in Hubei Province.
