The 28-year-old is Huang Chunlong, originally from Wuxi, Jiangsu Province. Two years ago, following the advice of his father-in-law, he came to Toudun Village, Jinji Town, Tianchang City, and became a quail farmer.

At first, the inexperienced Huang Chunlong inadvertently found that when the temperature was too low, the little quails would gather together like a pyramid to keep warm, and all of them would suffocate to death. Huang Chunlong fumbled while learning quail breeding habits.

After two years of accumulation, the number of quails raised by Huang Chunlong has also gradually increased, from thousands at the beginning to more than 60,000 today. Although the scale of breeding has been expanded again and again, the supply of products has always been in short supply. For example, some big markets in Yangzhou also want to monopolize Huang Chunlong's quail eggs.

Quails lay one or two eggs a day after a 45-day chick period. Bird dung is also an excellent fertilizer. Quails can be put on the market after 6 months of mature quails. Through large-scale farming, small quails have become Huang Chunlong's "getting rich birds", earning about 1500 to 1600 yuan a day. This is not counting the income of bird droppings, which is extra for the sale of bird droppings.

While carrying out quail breeding, Huang Chunlong also tried to develop more than 500 mu of seedlings. He hopes to combine the advantages and characteristics of the two to paint a larger picture of ecological agriculture.
