Last Updated: 2024/09/19, Stubborn men find different wealth in the desert.

Highlights: he went to panning for gold alone, and coincidentally found the local treasure known as "desert platinum". He vowed to be the first person in China's camel milk industry to take root in the desert and nearly collapse in five years. On his own, he wanted to open up a way out for the development of an industry and see how Jiang Honghai achieved a great reversal in life!

Host: OK, the race has begun, and now it is the second group of our 1000-meter camel race.

Host: OK, our rider has passed the first corner of our field.

What is being held here is the annual camel rally, and many local Kazakh herdsmen come from pastoral areas hundreds of kilometers away to take part in the camel race.

Despite the fact that camels are usually slow, in the eyes of Kazakh herdsmen, camels can run as well as horses, and camels can run at a speed of more than 60 kilometers per hour.

The final sprint is under way now. Come on! Well, congratulations to our rider number 31.

At the camel convention, the participants were all able-bodied male camels.

Male camels can race and win prizes. Female camels are even more useful. Because camel milk is the main source of income for Kazakh herdsmen, herdsmen raise camels with dozens of peaks and more than one or two hundred peaks, and a family earns more than ten to 200000 yuan a year.

And the camel milk industry has only been developed for five or six years. Before 2009, camel milk was only eaten by local Kazakh herdsmen themselves, and there was only 6 yuan a kilogram on the market. Now camel milk costs 20 yuan a kilogram. Many herdsmen get rich by raising camels, and they all want to thank one person.

This man is Jiang Honghai, he is known as the godfather of the local camel milk industry, camel milk industry from scratch, precisely because he traveled thousands of miles to the wooden base, favored and developed. While creating wealth, it has led to the local camel industry.

Deputy head of Muheyati County: in 2009, we raised camels. The number of camels in the county may be about 8000. Now our herdsmen like to raise this camel. From 2009 to this year, our whole county may have reached 13500 camels.

Camels produce only 1-2 kilograms of milk a day. Camel milk is known as desert "platinum", and many people have never drunk it or seen it.

Herdsmen still: drink for children, drink for the elderly, and then the rest is for us to drink. For example, when relatives and friends get married, it means to come to the guests, ferment this into acid and give it to the guests to drink.

This year's camel conference, in addition to the fastest camel, there is also the most beautiful, the most milk-producing camel-long eyebrow camel.

The wooden base is also named "the hometown of the long-eyebrow camel". At that time, Jiang Honghai also took a fancy to the development prospect of the long-eyebrowed camel. What kind of magical camel is that long eyebrow camel?

The reporter decided to follow Jiang Honghai to the Gobi Desert to see the camel with long eyebrows.

Jiang Honghai, a native of Lianyungang, Jiangsu Province, has been operating a gin factory in his hometown. He came to trade cotton in 2002 and earned more than 800,000 yuan in two years.

One day in June 2003, a friend invited Jiang Honghai to visit the wooden base Kazakh pastoral area. Because he was happy and drank a few more glasses of wine, Jiang Honghai was a little dizzy. At this time, the herdsman gave him a bowl of homemade camel milk and asked him to relieve the wine. Jiang Honghai smelled the sour camel milk and drank it doubtfully.

Jiang Honghai: I drank it with my nose pinched at that time. I had diarrhea for the first time.

Jiang Honghai asked the herdsman when the yogurt was made, and the herdsman told him it should have been a long time ago. Jiang Honghai was startled. He felt that the yogurt must have gone bad and had a bad stomach. His friend told him that it was a normal reaction and would be fine in a minute. Sure enough, it wasn't long before Jiang Honghai became much more comfortable.

It was the first time that Jiang Honghai had experienced camel milk, but he did not expect that the course of his life would change in the next decade or so.

After that day, Jiang Honghai learned that sour camel milk is an indispensable food for Kazakh herdsmen to get married and celebrate festivals. Usually herdsmen are reluctant to drink it, and it is only when guests come to share it that they can drink it for a year.

Nur Habu, a herdsman: can drink. Is to add camel milk every two or three days, you can drink it.

Interviewer: won't it go bad for a year?

Nur Habu, the herdsman: no.

Reporter: will it be more sour?

Herdsman Nuerhab: just add camel milk, and then you can drink it. Every day, once every two days, you can drink camel milk.

After that, Jiang Honghai stayed in Muli County to discuss business while inspecting camel milk. He found that there is not a large camel milk enterprise on the market, and what people eat most is the yoghurt and milk bumps made by herdsmen.

Jiang Honghai asked the old man about camel milk and heard a lot about the magical effect of camel milk.

Professor Jiri Mutu: as for the camel, it can live for more than 70 days without eating or drinking, so all its nutrients are in its camel milk and transferred to the camel. Therefore, these bioactive substances, in particular, have a lot of curative effects on the disease. The first one that is used most at present is that the hypoglycemic effect is better, which is good for people with diabetes.

Jiang Honghai: I thought at that time that such a good thing should be possible if it was made into a product and put on the market.

In order to get more authoritative data, he went to the local animal husbandry bureau and other government departments to inquire about the development of the local camel industry. This inquiry made him excited and felt that he had found a huge business opportunity.

Mulai Kazakh Autonomous County is located to the north of Tianshan Mountain, which is full of grassland Gobi, and every family of herdsmen raises camels. One is because the environment is suitable, and the other is that it was once a necessary place on the ancient Silk Road. in the past, people raised a large number of camels and rented them to merchants who carried goods. Jiang Honghai also learned that there is a magical camel in Muli County-the long-eyebrow camel.

Jiang Honghai: this industry is currently a blank in China. If we want to develop it, it must be a huge business opportunity in the future.

In November 2004, Jiang Honghai came to the wooden base with more than 1.1 million yuan with ambition to plan to revitalize the local camel milk industry.

Jiang Honghai: I will never do what everyone does, because there is no one to do it in your camel industry. If you do it, it may go down in history.

Looking forward to doing a lot of work, Jiang Honghai did not expect this decision, so that in the next five years, he once came to the brink of collapse of life.
