He contacted Cai Shenghua, director of the Fruit and vegetable Research Institute of Fujian Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Professor Wei Xiaoxia, and other experts to guide Zheng Guisong in planting techniques.

In order to ensure the green health of the fruit, Zheng Guisong applied organic fertilizer and treated chicken and duck manure on the planting land of Huo ginseng fruit according to the guidance of experts, and even the weeds in the field were artificially weeded, and biological pesticides were used to control diseases and insect pests under the guidance of experts.

Some hard work originally had some harvest, but the typhoon in August made Huo Shenguo suffer heavy losses. It was originally expected to harvest 60, 000 ginseng fruits, but now the harvest is only nearly 8000.

It has only been a year since I started my business, and the sales channel has not yet been established. Currently, Zheng Guisong has sold only more than 700 of them at a price of 10 yuan each through Wechat moments.

Zhang Shujian, secretary of the party committee of Pingcheng and urban areas, also said that Zheng Guisong is the first person to grow characteristic wild fruits on a large scale, and his popularity is not high, and marketing platforms such as Wechat are still under construction. Huo ginseng fruit flesh is delicate, gelatinous, similar to the mixed taste of banana, cucumber and lemon, suitable for snacks, fruit salad, and extremely resistant to storage, can be preserved at room temperature for 2 to 3 months.
