Almost all of the more than 1000 villagers in the village live on steep slopes with no access to roads, live in earthen-wall houses built in the 1970s, and eat traditional corn, potatoes and sweet potatoes. The per capita net income of the village is less than 2000 yuan, which seems to be another world compared with that outside the mountains.

Through talking with village cadres, Liu Xiaoying learned that the township government has also done a lot of positive and effective work to speed up the pace of villagers getting rid of poverty, but due to the lag of infrastructure construction and the lack of leading enterprises, the effect of industrial development is not satisfactory. The process of starting a business is always arduous, and to really lead the villagers out of poverty and become rich is not just a slogan. In order to arouse the enthusiasm of the poor people, cooperatives adopt the methods of prenatal fertilizer input, technical guidance, purchase at protective prices and year-end dividends to encourage poor households to change the traditional planting structure of rice and corn and vigorously develop high-quality tea bases. But in the face of negative backwardness and waiting for important ideas, everything is so difficult.

In order to break the deadlock, Liu Xiaoying, together with the cadres of the village committee, went door to door to do ideological work, and finally moved some poor households with sincerity through reasoning and accounting. For the first time, 50 poor people were attracted to join the professional cooperatives, each with a stake of 10 yuan. the poor households developed the base and managed the tea garden according to the company's standard for producing organic tea. The company purchased fresh tea leaves from poor households who joined the society at a price nearly double the market price, which immediately aroused the enthusiasm of the poor masses, and the villagers adjusted the industrial structure and developed the tea garden base one after another, and the survival rate of tea seedlings also increased from 30% to 90%.

For a long time, the purchase price of fresh leaves for poor households is much higher than the market price. If the company does not follow the brand strategy and improve the value of the tea brand, it will not be able to develop in the long run. Liu Xiaoying knows this truth very well. For this reason, Liu Xiaoying put the quality of tea in the first place, highlighted the advantages of rich selenium and ecological organic, made great efforts to think about the benign operation mechanism of "company + cooperative + base + peasant household", and highlighted the brand of "Huazhicha".

In order to create a real organic tea garden, improve the scientific and technological level of poor members in growing tea, and ensure that members can get rich as soon as possible, Liu Xiaoying spends 200000 yuan every year to hire tea experts and professors from scientific research institutes such as Huazhong Agricultural University, China Tea Research Institute, Enshi Vocational College, etc., to provide free professional and technical guidance and training for poor families, and to issue a scientific and technological manual on "cultivation and Management of Organic Tea Garden" to villagers. The number of poor households who joined the community has grown from 52 at the beginning to nearly 280. it has fully covered the poor households in the village, and the income of members has increased by nearly 5 million yuan from tea. In 2014, the per capita net income of the whole village reached 6500 yuan, and in 2015, the per capita net income will exceed 8000 yuan. In 2015, the fresh leaf income of member Zhou Xuepei reached more than 80,000 yuan, and the number of large households with 50,000 yuan was close to 60. Since 2009, through seven consecutive years of poverty alleviation in the tea industry, it has increased the income of members by a total of 23 million yuan.

Successful patterns can be replicated. After the success of the Huazhishan "company + cooperative + base + peasant household" model, Liu Xiaoying, relying on the Huazhishan Tea Company, set up two professional cooperatives in Mufu and Longfeng Town, developed a tea base of 1300 mu, and led nearly 1300 people from more than 140households to shake off poverty and become rich, increasing the income of poor households by nearly 8 million yuan.

Give back to the society and spare no effort.

While successfully leading more than 1000 poor villagers out of poverty and realizing the continuous growth of enterprises, Liu Xiaoying actively devoted herself to social poverty alleviation and shouldered the social responsibility of a private entrepreneur.

In recent years, the company has coordinated the village committee, actively strived for higher departments, and built 16 kilometers of group gravel roads in the form of labor and other forms, and the road hardening project is being carried out. The company has invested 300000 yuan to build a nearly 2-kilometer group road, which has greatly improved the villagers' travel and transportation conditions, and the living environment and quality of life of the local villagers have undergone qualitative changes.

While working hard, Liu Xiaoying also actively devoted herself to the cause of public welfare and poverty alleviation.
